beat it on hardest mode,hardcoe in like 50 hours.

hardcoe mode is a joke it takes you like 10 days to die of hunger and by then ull find a brahmin to shoot and eat.
And all you do is hafta carry around at least 10 doctor bags with you and your set.

50 cal ap bullets destroy all enemies.. period.
sneak headshots grant 1 hit kills everytime.

All that i have left to do to challenge myself since i killed every human inhabitant in the entire game world is to kill a deathclaw with my bare fists.
Which is almost impossible on hardest mode.

Killing the president guy in the ncr hq in vegas made the game challenging for a while when a buncha 1rst recon guys came after me.. but then they stoped sending those guys and all that was after me entire rest of the game were standard rangers.. i didnt even see anymore spec ops troops.
Whered they go?


Also is the rock-it launcher schematics buged?
I picked them up and they are not on my workshop list of makable items...
The rock-it launcher would at least keep me entertained for a while...
Anyone know anything about it?
And can anyone point me to any 1rst recon soldiers maybe hiding? except for boone.. i already killed him.

Yes but this is a video game..
And i dont think anyone in the world can die of hunger of dehydration in this game because its too easy to find the stuff you need.
Its more of a slight annoyance/waste of caps to buy water and stuff...Adds maybe 2-4 hours of backtracking restock gameplay... but thats it.

Big deal I modded the game to where I had one hit point and still beat it in like 20 seconds!

If i knew how to mod a xbox 360 trust me i would be having all kinds of fun with this game making my own challenges...

hardcoe mode is there for people who want realism (survival/realism mods that include realistic eating, drinking, and sleeping are very popular amongst a large number of RPG gamers), the developers have listened and included this mode for people like me who want more realism. If you don't like it, you're not forced to play with it turned on. I love it.

The beauty of this game, like Fallout 3 before it, is it allows a vast degree of character customisation. If it's too easy, try a different character.

Before people get the wrong idea im not saying this games bad.. its awesome..
Better then fallout 3 and oblivion combined..


No hard enemies are in this game.
No humans have any rocket launchers or fat mans or big guns that can kill you easy....1 guy at that boomer place has 1 rocket launcher and i sniped him in the face.

i think hardcoe mode is a great improvement!



if you want really real "realism" just try not eating or drinking at all in REAL LIFE until you beat the game!

No hard enemies? I found half a dozen reavers when I was at level 4 or 5.

Reavers,raomers,hoopers whatever they all die in 1 headshot with my 50 cal.
I remember in fallout 3 though when they were buged and they flailed around they were actually very hard and that was awesome, untill they patched it and made them weak cuz ppl like you complained that they were too hard to kill...

NV too easy? You must be some sort of FPS god then, because I'm on normal with hardcoe off and I still have my ass handed to me quite regularly.

hardcoe on or off has nothing to do with difficulty. Regardless if you're on normal and dying 'regularly' you're in the wrong areas. Try to follow the path the main story puts you on a bit more, and try to do more side stuff along the way so you're ending up in places horribly under leveled and under geared.

I find a few enemies quite hard, deathclaws and Nightkin especially.

people who complane that the game is too easy are people who need to get a life seriously... i dont wanna challenge myself playing hardcoe and spend alot of hours... i play the game on very easy and when i cant handle situation i even use god *spoilervault 11spoiler* ;D

I dunno i aim and shoot them in the face, i dont miss.. Im not a fps god its just common for xbox players to shoot ppl in the face all day ( i get it from modern warfare)

hardcoe doesnt have anything to do with how hard the fighting is.. just your FOD! LMB! and H20! lol fod...

Its all about how you aproach a fight, you sneak, aim in and snipe them, if they see you you die.
If i just ran in like an idiot with smgs id be dead in like 4 shots.. but im not an idiot and im not a troll.

.50 Cals are serious business numb nuts, nothing alive on earth today can stand up to a .50 cal headshot, especially if you're using an explosive armor piercing shell. If you want the game to be more difficult try using a worse weapon. The developers can't make creatures/people impossible to take out with rocket launchers/mini nukes and .50 Cals.

This is why the GECK exists. This is a problem easily solved. For XBox and PS3 users, well, tough cookies. Get a PC.

Huh? What game are you playing. My guns is on 91 and I have trouble dropping Brotherhood of Steele with rifles if it's not a stealth kill. I was in their bunker unloading clips into them and these dudes would keep coming. And I'm playing on NORMAL and no hard core mode.

But you are dropping Reavers with one head shot? That must be some gun.

Then try playing a different way (i.e. running into the center with an smg)... and you deffinately are a troll because if you weren't 10 this would be as obvious to you as it is to everyone else.

I have yet to fight BoS but knowing them they were covered in armor. Did you bother using AP bullets? Or at least a slow weapon instead of plinking away with SMGs?
