Just got a dual-headshot on a couple of Jackal Gang members. One VATS burst, two decapitations. Nice. I'm working on a "La Femme Makita" build, a female assassin that only uses power tools, and I have to say I'm very impressed with this weapon so far. When I get all the associated perks for the build (Professional, Better Criticals, Sniper, Just Lucky I'm Alive, etc.) I expect this thing to be a real powerhouse. Anyone else?

Yup, I cleared McCarran easily with that, and I was playing on Very Hard

On paper it is puny, but in practice it is a headshot factory.

When I first got the gun, I thought it was a joke, or a homage to the railway rifle. when I used after the end of the DLC, some stupid Legion came up to me thinking it was an assassination of me, instead of a massacre of them. so I used the nail gun and I was surprised to find 2 of the 4 scum pinned to the wall. this gun is very good at stopping deathclaws too.

the only downside is that it requires a skill of 75...to use a nail gun WTH!
