H&H Tools Nail Gun Overpenetration

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 12:12 am

It seems to use come form of automatic collector scoop to draw in air, which it then compresses in a chamber to drive magazine fed nails at a reasonable velocity (you don't need that much speed to make a nail deadly, unlike wide bullet). Given the tech level of the Fallout universe, I don't see why they couldn't do it.

As a military weapon, it'd be impractical in the same way they are now (just gunpowder propelled rather than air), as they cause very small wounds. Good penetration of armor and retained velocity though.

Well, that's a bummer. I read "overpenetration" in the subject heading and thought this topic was about something else entirely.

The nail gun is in The Long Road, not GRA. All you've gotta do is buy LR and you're good to go, the nail gun can be picked up in the first few minutes and you can leave at any time during the DLC and then return without any complications.

Ah, I see. Sorry I thought you'd mistaken the nailgun as a part of the LR DLC and I wanted to make sure you would be able to get the full experience. :celebration:

Arc Welder
Nail Gun
Industrial Hand
Compliance Regulator
Dynamite
Long-Fuse Dynamite
C-4
Demolition Charge
Chainsaw
Ripper
Sledgehammer

Are all what I consider industrial weapons. I used the weapon list btw.

Compliance Regulator because it is used to make people comply. It paralyzes and does such things, so I guess it could be used for construction.

Dynamite(s) because they were used to blow up rocks in the Mojave.

Sledgehammerbecause, well, it's a sledgehammer.

And industrial character seems very cool....... :shocking:
Don't forget the White Glove Society uses a Flamer to cook Brahmin. Adds Flamer to list of weapon tools.

I love the Nailgun because I can reenact the scene from the movie American Psycho over and over again.
