Top Break Revolver

Post » Tue Jun 01, 2010 1:40 pm

I know it's mostly an sthetic thing, but I'd really like at least one top break revolver. Preferably a Smith and Wesson Model 3 (also called a Schoefield). A single action, Prefferably somehting that's more accurate than a hunting revolver, but with a slower rate of fire.

Of course I just like single action weapons. Lucky and the 357 are my favorites, bu they don't do enough damage, they're inaccurate and they have that damned gate loading system.

Anyone with me, or am I alone on this one?

That'd be cool aesthetically, but performance wise, I still want a Deagle.

Like the .32 pistol in Fallout 3? Yes, that was one of my favorite guns, i modded it to make it just a little weaker than the Hunting Rifle, they were both shooting the same ammo, after all.

They don't appear to be in my game files. Where did you find them in the geck?

if you open the fallout - meshes.bsa (and textures.bsa) they are at meshes\weapons\1handpistol\32snubnose.nif

Sorry thats what I meant, still have to add them to an ESP 1st (but to add iron sights you need to edit the nif to add a ##SightingNode NiNode to the Nif

Really did wish they brought the .32 back; did enjoy using it even at level 30.

It would be doable with .44 special, 357/.38 Special, or 10mm....but I wouldn't fire a .44 Mag top-break, much less a .45-70.
