8. Guitar Hero 2: This had my favorite set list
4, Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past: AKA THE REAL ZELDA GAME

7. Rune Factory 3. Guilty pleasure #2. Also adorable. It has everything I enjoy most in these kinds of games. Cooking, crafting, forging, alchemy, fighting monsters, magic, and cute women! The list of things you can make is just massive.

I have to ask, what are the key differences between Rune Factory 3, and rune Factory 1 and 2. I'm currently playing the first, I randomly chose it as a present for my wife to get me for my birthday last year, and lo and behold, I absolutely love/adore the game. It's so much fun, I can't believe I had never heard of it before I saw it on toys r us website. I've only read the manual for the 2nd one(since, obviously, I'm still playing the first), but it sounds even better then the first, and I"m greatly looking forward to playing it. I haven't bought the third one yet, since It's still rather expensive(I tend to buy my games on ebay, and it hasn't come down in price on there yet).

10) Final Fantasy XI
--- 70 days spent in-game. Would still be playing if I had time and money (and people to play with).

I was considering putting this on my top 10, i have nearly 200 days in-game spent on this game(I started in Sept 2003, still play occasionaly), but in the end, SE's shoddy customer support and callous disregard for the FFXI community by bringing out the atrocity known as FFXIV stopped me from doing so.

Just thinking, and glancing at my shelf these are probably the games I'm always willing to play... but there are probably games out of sight and out of mind that I'd play at the drop of a hat and consider favourites. In no particular order. :D

Icewind Dale
Doom3
Street Fighter Ex Plus Alpha
Resident Evil 4 (GameCube)
Medieval II: Total War
Quake III Arena
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Aliens versus Predator 2
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
BioShock

Got no problem playing the newer Wolfenstein, Quake IV, BioShock 2, Dead Rising 1/2, Max Payne 1/2, Unreal II, Fallout 3, New Vegas... on and on... but the first ten... lol they stand out... right now.

I can't really say, because Rune Factory 3 is the only one I've ever played. I do know that one of the bigger new mechanics is that your character is half monster, and can transform into a sheep creature that can fight and talk to monsters. Besides that it has different characters, and I assume they'd have tweaked the gameplay mechanics and made some things easier interface-wise, but that's just pure conjecture from me. I'm gonna end up buying RF1 and RF2 soon so I can just get more goodness.

Also keeping an eye out for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Aml9w23aHY&feature=related whenever it gets released over here.

I did the same thing with Summon Night Swordcraft Story. I loved the first one so much I ended up snatching up every other Summon Night game I could find. :P

There is also a Rune Factory for the Wii called Rune Factory Frontiers, but it appears to be fairly hard to acquire, as the cheapest copy I could find on Ebay was 35 bucks, and many of them were in the range of 45-60 bucks. Also, Rune Factory Oceans looks awesome, just wish I had a PS3 for when it comes out over here in the U.S. Also, I highly recommend the original Rune Factory, as it is absolutely incredible. Rune Factory 2, just from reading the book also sounds extremely fun, and very in-depth as apparently your main character retires and you're child picks up the adventuring and it unlocks other portions of the game.

Also, lol, since you proclaimed Summon Knight your first guilty pleasure, I immediately looked it up. Seems like it would be very entertaining and fairly unique storyline/gameplay wise(having the game consist of 10 days sounds fun), if I can find a decently priced copy on E-bay I might pick it up sometime.

It's got really fun combat and similarly adorable characters. Incredible replay value too, because at the end of every "day" you get to choose which other character in the game you want to spend time with and have a conversation with, so depending on how many times you choose a character you'll get further into their own little back stories.

Also the game is fairly cheap on Amazon. Less than $20 I see now.

1.Fifa 2003 on xbox only. I'm really good with this game and so is my brother.
2.Fallout 3 on xbox 360 and a good PC with mods that makes sense with the storyline and others that only add to the game(although I never played the PC version but I really want to with mods too...).
3.Oblivion on Xbox 360 and a good PC with mods that makes sense to the storyline and others that only add to the game but not take away(although I never played the PC version with mods before but I'd really like to).
4.Arx Fatalis on Xbox and PC.
5.KOTOR 1 on xbox though I never played it on PC with mods though I want to.
6.KOTOR 2 on xbox though I never played it on PC either with mods too.
7.NBA 2k2.
I can't think of three other " favorite" games I played but there's others I want to play.

1- Okami
A pure joy to play, with a gorgeus graphic style and an endlessly characterful world. Play this in order to have a soul.
2- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Probably my favourite Zelda game. I love the graphic style and the ability to be able to freely explore the sea.
3- The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Also brilliant, and excellently dark.
4- Deus Ex
I've actually only picked this up recently and I'm enjoying it greatly.
5- The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind
Screw Oblivion. This is where it's all at.
6- Pokemon Leafgreen/Firered
The first pokemon games I played, and still the best. I never played Red/Blue so I've put this instead, and you have to admit the Sevi Isles are great.
7- Neverwinted Nights
Deny this is great at your peril.
8- Metroid Fusion
This game lives and breathes cool. And it's really hard too.
9- Rome: Total War
I've always been a Total War fan at heart. I love playing the campaign and admiring my empire, especially on my Greek save where I'm besieging Rome.
10- StarCraft 2
The most balanced RTS ever with faultless online multiplayer.

3. Mass Effect
4. Oblivion
5. Fallout 3
6. Battlefield 2
7. Counter-Strike 1.6
8. Portal
9. Dead Red Redemption
10. FIFA 11

And OP, I used to love playing JSRF when I was younger, so that definitely gets an honorable mention. Might as well add Pokémon Blue too, from when I was even younger. Mount & Blade and Plants vs Zombies also gets honorable mentions, as well as Borderlands, which I wanted to put on my list but I ran out of space...
