It's got really fun combat and similarly adorable characters. Incredible replay value too, because at the end of every "day" you get to choose which other character in the game you want to spend time with and have a conversation with, so depending on how many times you choose a character you'll get further into their own little back stories.

Also the game is fairly cheap on Amazon. Less than $20 I see now.

I remember that game, I LOVED it

No particular order...

Morrowind
Final Fantasy
Forza Motorsport
Legend of Zelda
Kotor
Baseball Stars
Quest for Glory
Mass Effect 2
Master of Orion
Starcontrol 2

Honorable mention: Street Fighter 2 because it was somehow the equivalent of the pinball machine for my generation. You had one in every arcade, little cafe and comicbook shop.

These threads never get old

Can't put favs in top 10, or at least atm

Hi folks! Thought it would be interesting to see what video games the fine people here at the BGS forums enjoy. So list your top 10 favorite games!

I'll start!

10-Portal
9- Pokemon: Blue Version
8- Resident Evil 2
7- Fallout 3
6- Final Fantasy 8
5- Rainbow Six: Vegas (Both the original and 2)
4- Jet Set Radio Future (This game wins the most "underrated game" award off of my list)
3- Halo 3
2- Final Fantasy: Tactics
1- Morrowind

Honorable Mentions:
Half-life 2
Time Splitters 2
Eternal Darkness
Left 4 Dead
Oblivion

I may edit these, as I remember ancient greats from the past.

I could never get into FF8, I dunno why.

There is also a Rune Factory for the Wii called Rune Factory Frontiers, but it appears to be fairly hard to acquire, as the cheapest copy I could find on Ebay was 35 bucks, and many of them were in the range of 45-60 bucks. Also, Rune Factory Oceans looks awesome, just wish I had a PS3 for when it comes out over here in the U.S. Also, I highly recommend the original Rune Factory, as it is absolutely incredible. Rune Factory 2, just from reading the book also sounds extremely fun, and very in-depth as apparently your main character retires and you're child picks up the adventuring and it unlocks other portions of the game.

Also, lol, since you proclaimed Summon Knight your first guilty pleasure, I immediately looked it up. Seems like it would be very entertaining and fairly unique storyline/gameplay wise(having the game consist of 10 days sounds fun), if I can find a decently priced copy on E-bay I might pick it up sometime.

I have Rune Factory Frontier. I think it's much better than the DS installments... except the http://runefrontier.wikia.com/wiki/Runey_Guide adds way too much micromanagement for my taste.

I'll stick with classic Harvest Moon.

These are not only list of games I like best, they are also those what changed the way I think games and those what are most memorable.

1. Battletech - Tabletop / Pen & Paper RPG
Combines both tabletop wargaming as well as intense and unforgiving sci-fi roleplaying experience. There is
very little what console/PC games can do better what these games do. As long as you have group to play with
and some free time.

2. Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion - PC
Lets admit it, this is where I was first time trully addicted to TES game. While Morrowind is superior game, this is
where I spend most of my time.

3. Command & Conquer: Red Alert
- PC
My fist real RTS Strategy game was original C&C, but Red Alert was one what I remember as best RTS game ever!

4. MechWarrior 4: Vengeance
- PC
The game what got me into Battletech universe. While it is not perfect game, it sure guided me to right path. It was back then
decision between this and Planescape Torment. If I picked Planescape, my entire list might look very different...

5. Fallout 1 & 2 - PC
Oh, the memories. Both of them where awesome games.

6. MechWarrior 3 - PC
While MW4 Vengeance and Mercenaries where those close to my heart, this is the best MechWarrior game out there.

7. Morrowind - PC
While being superior game compared to Oblivion. I don't see Morrowind as large part of my gaming history that it would earn higher rank.

8. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - PS2
Only console game on this list. I played a lot of PS2 games, but this was only one of those games which really stand out compared to PC games. And Snake Eater
is only really good MGS game out there IMO.

9. Commander Keen 1 - PC
Yay! my first game ever!

10. Doom 1 - PC
First shooter I played... Or was it Wolfenstein? I'm not sure but that is the one I remember best.

How I remember them. Not in order.

(Edit: Damn it, Silent Hill II should be nr.1.)

Grand theft auto III.
You can do what? That is amazing.

Discworld.
The first game I played on my first computer.

Thief II.
Love this, loving this, loving this...

Final Fantasy VII.
My first JRPG. The music, my god, the music.

Final Fantasy VI (I, II, III, IV, V, VIII and IX.)
The music.

Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call (DDS, Persona and DS.)
Brilliant.

Guitar Hero (I,II and III.)
Like a drug. (Expert guitar.)

Rock Band II.
Like a drug. (Expert guitar.)

StarCraft I.
What more is there to say about this game? Absolutely perfect.

Dark Cloud.
Make a change.

Best game ever when modded: Oblivion.

(I've played way to many games to make a top ten list justice.)

I don't really have 10 top games, but here are my 8 favorites:

Oblivion
Fallout 3
Morrowind
Mass Effect 2
Syberia
Syberia II
Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth (the first one)
Leisure Suite Larry Magna Laude* (I think it's really funny)

Not in any order, except that Oblivion is probably my favorite of those.

* I see the auto censor doesn't like that full name, so it dropped the legitimate latin word between Magna and Laude :)
