Yeah, this should probably be in Oblivion General Discussion forum, instead of the Skyrim discussion forum, since it has nothing to do with Skryim but everything to do with Oblivion.

Sooooo. just because his sneak isn't that good makes the 4th most hated person in a Oblivion... Yet you say he is cool. Odd.

your the only one that hated the adoring fan..everone loved him because we got to lead him to a cliff and push him off..the vincente guy gave you that offer as apart of a new dynamic of the game..i was a vampire from him it was actually pretty cool for a while..he was there for people who didn't know you could become a vampire..i really did hate arqueen though and i don't remember the last two

I'm surprised this hasn't been moved to the Oblivion forum yet. my least favorite character was that Orc Arena Grand Champion. He was such a wuss.

I felt sorry for the adoring fan so I told him he could come with me. But of course, he drove me nuts. So I took him swimming in the lake in front of my Imperial City Waterfront Shack and told him to stay in the lake. Then I literally forgot about him existing. So six in-game months later, I remembered him and I can't find him in the lake. He's not at the arena either. So I think that Giganormous Slaughterfish ate him.

I suspect you are not old enough to be playing Oblivion, or maybe to be on these forums at all.

Anyway

1. Glarthir - It was kind of amusing the first time, but now every time I start a new character he hunts me down in Skingrad. Leave me alone!
2. Maglir - What a punk! I cover his ass and he ends up just...ugh! What an annoyance.
3. Farwil - I don't like babysitting a Dunmer that gives the rest of his race a bad name. Huzzah!
4. Blue Team Gladiator - That Dunmer Marksman in the Arena Bloodworks. He's your friend until you kill the Gray Prince, then he gets all upset at you. Screw you, buddy. It's the Arena! That's the name of the game!
5. Hieronymus Lex - What a jerk! A good self-righteous villain.

I'd also like to say that I had no idea that the Adoring Fan was so despised among Oblivion fans until I started looking things up and paying attention to the community. First time I saw him I just told him to go away. I never had him follow me and never tried to kill him or anything like that.

I would include other forced Companions, but most of them are a one time annoyance, or become tolerable at the end of quests.

1. Ulrich Leland - Corrupt, rude, and overall completely unlikeable.
2. Alessia Caro - Racism, torture... she's a real peach.
3. Falcar - Dude, that is just sick what you did to Vidkun.
4. M'raaj-Dar - He was fine when he was an [censored]. Funny, even. But then he turned into a svck-up.
5. Maglir - I didn't care when he wussed out on his contracts. No did I care when he up and left us for the BWC. Heck, I didn't even care when he tried to kill me. But when (with a different character) he killed my Dark Brotherhood murderer? Oh, you're going down!

1. Maglir, without a shadow of a doubt the most obnoxious git in all Cyrodiil.
2. Lazare Milvan, when a Breton accuses an Altmer of being 'of low birth', there's just no answer that does the comment justice.
3. Countess Alessia, she actually believes she is right, so dangerous and stupid, reminds me of Maggie Thatcher.
4. Kalthar, the very model of petty ambition and jealousy.
5. Tie between Farwil and his Dad, who has to take some of blame for his son's flaws.

Not Old Enough?, Lol im 15. also I Thought this was just an Elder Scrolls Forum, My friend gave me a link to it,He didnt tell me there was one for Oblivion so you don't need to post about it, People already have, what makes you think you have to?

Funny thread.... not the answers so much as the drama....

Anyway - I've never really understood the hatred for the Adoring Fan. I just tell him to go away and he goes away and that's that. I don't see what's to hate. But then, I find it hard to get worked up enough about anybody, in the game or in real life, to go to the trouble of hating them anyway, so maybe that's part of it.

Of the characters in the game, my least favorites, just in the order they come to me:

Matthias Draconis
Claudette Perrick
Alval Uvani
Valandrus Abor
Falcar

No real hate, but in order of dislike, from most disliked to less disliked:

1. Lucien Lachance - arrogant and incompetent
2. Farwil - for general jerkiness
3. Falcar - traitor
4. Mannimarco - for evilness
5. Countess Alessia Caro - for racism

Subject to change. Strangely no Bosmer's on my list. They are annoying but somewhat likable.

I don't hate any of these people but I really dislike them (well, Adoring Fan just got on my nerves)

Rasheda, the proprietor of Fire and Steel - such a arrogant snob and a tightwad too...only go to her because she is the merchant with the most money

Alval Uvani - he's psycho! An elemental golem killed him outside of Skingrad and then later I saw him running from a will-o-wisp outside of Bravil

Adoring Fan - RIP

Else God-Hater - even though her disposition towards me is 100%

All those stuck up, two faced mages at the Arcane University

Earana. She threatened Buffy. She's dead.

Falcar. He tried to kill Buffy, just like he did Vidkun. If she ever finds him, he is dead.

Alval Uvani. He threatens Buffy, but she doesn't actually take him seriously. She simply hits him with a strong demoralize spell, then giggles as he throws up his hands and runs away in fear. If he really pissed her off, she would switch to a frenzy spell just as he walked past a guard and watch him commit 'suicide by guard'.

Um, she pretty much likes most of the rest of the named NPCs she meets because most of them are kind to her. She's just a simple elf and that's all she asks for. :dance:
