I thought I would come on and share some beauty with you all; all if not most of you currently here may or may not have heard of BOSE Speaker Systems, they are cutting edge in sound and audio equipment, they'll beat any Turtlebeach Headset hands-down. I'm not here to advertise anything, or even try to sell you something, I'm here to provide you with a little bit more information on something that a friend of mine had purchased and had instructed me to do the same, I however do not have a sparse £1000+ laying about, but out of interest I thought I would let you all know about this divine product of beauty which is truly amazing.
Now, before I get started on what it is I wish to show you, I will tell you beforehand, that I have used these personally when I visited my friend, and I can, and WILL say that these are the most, AMAZING sound quality and volume control and levelling around... And this is apparently the cheaper brand?! Insane...
Anyway, I want to direct you to this link -
http://www.bose.co.uk/GB/en/home-and-personal-audio/headphones-and-headsets/aviation-headsets/a20-aviation-headset/
These are actually, believe it or not Aviation Headsets, they are designed for small-medium sized personal aircraft; such as those you often see with mainly two piloteers etc. Though the layout of the cable allows you to do exactly the same setup that you would end up using for your Turtlebeach headsets! Notice the two Audio Jacks at the end of the cable? Well, of course... They plug into your PC also. Though not supposed to, but they do work! Also, on the Microphone control switch, there is a smaller jack, which can be plugged into your Xbox Live 360 Controller port to allow you to talk through live with these! But wait, even better... The headset even has the two jacks which can be plugged into ANY 3.5/2.5mm audio jack as long as the desired device has an Audio Out function.
I personally, am thinking of picking up a pair of these for myself after hearing them for myself; even iPhones can work with these, I feel that the audio quality is a step so far that I don't want to go back to the previous gear I had.
So, anyone else? what are your thoughts?
