A bit of good news, because were about due some on this thread.

I managed to fix the exterior navmesh errors today, and add a few items to the exterior to help it blend with the Fallout world.

I can`t do anymore myself until I get back Attentater5`s and Sesoms further contributions.

I'm at a stage where I can no longer continue work on this mod because of issues. Apparently, this is my GECK's fault, and not the mod - my GECK is crashing on all of my mods now, all of a sudden :(

I'd love some advice fixing this; in the meantime, I think that I'll have to pass my part on to Sesom. I'm sorry, guys and puffy :(

No problem trooper, you've been the trenches long enough with everything else happening -can't remember what it was though :P
Could you mail me the scripting in notepad or whatever so as I can kinda pour over it?
Maybe copy paste it into a test environment or something.. get my feet wet in scripting so to speak :D
..and then bug you with questions- err, on second thought, you might not want to mail it to me :hehe:
I dont wanna bug you :hugs:

@Skykappa
Are you gonna let me hang here by my "short and curlies" and make me beg in a very unmanly fashion on an open forum, or do we get to know what was wrong with the navmesh :D it was the greentube thingy, wasn't it?!

by the way, nice

Evening All

Attentater5 Pmed me,

He`d like one more crack at getting this to work. Big thanks to Attentater5 for his perseverance, and if Attentater5`s GECK problems persist, I`ve asked Sesom if he would be willing to take over.

But at this point, Attentater5 is still in charge of the Quest and Dialogue. So wishing him best of luck.

@ Old_Andy. Yup, those green edges, It was fairly simple in the end, as these things often are, but for lack of experience.

You just have to make sure that the verticies of the navmesh in the adjoining cells are perfectly alligned. After that I ran the Navmesh checker to isolate a few triangles that it said were causing errors, couldn`t tell what was wrong with them though, so I just re-jigged the offending triangles a little and the navmesh was error free!

Take care

Hiya Buddy

The only work that can be done at the moment is being done By Attentater5, so nothing new to report from Andy or myself for now.

Take care

Sorry to hear you broke your leg Andy, You mentioned High beams, I take it that you had a car crash?? I hope your ok. At least you have Akky to push you around in your wheelchair.

The audio and lip files are great Sesom! Fantastic work! It`ll give a good depth to the character. Many many thanks for your work on this.

I owe you, the newly disabled Old_Andy and Attentater5 a huge favor each for your help, you can call it in whenever, so just let me know.

Thanks again,

Skykappa

Motorcycle. I dropped her on the deck, unfortunately I was still doing 'bout 40kph... I'm not actually in a wheelchair.. just have to stay off my feet until the walking cast goes on.. (I can see how my earlier statement could be misinterpeted..)
Some car owner came around the a corner and didn't dip his lights.. since there were deep ditches on either side of the road and I was blinded I desided dropping her was better than finding out where the ditches were.. I kinda caught the weight of the bike on my knee, which stings. There's a hairline fracture in the cup of the knee joint and a whopping bruise on the bone, as well as some gamage to the tendons
I was lucky.
At least I still remember how to drop a bike when I need to :D
I wasn't too bad off afterwards.. The idiot driver never saw it happen and didn't stop. I sat and composed myself for awhile, rolled a smoke, got back on my bike, and in first gear with an idle throttle said "Get me home.." and tuffed homeward at a dazzling 5 kph.

Damage to my bike: a busted left rear blinker and a scraqe on the left foot pedal
Biggest problem, I don't really fit with my cast behind my desk, or in the toilet...
Haven't tried showering yet.. should be challenging :)

Andy

Acky wondering is it Disc-Ippled or Dics-Abled...
it's ippled :D

Weird things happen to you, Andy.

Why don't you get a sidecar? More stable bike, and slightly more mass to protect you if some idiot does decide to clip you.

And don't you dare disobey your doctor. What he tells you to do, do it...

Well, I've just spent a few hours fiddling with my sound card, updating all of my drivers, and reinstalling the GECK. Still nothing. I'll wait until Sesom is finished with the audio, and if I still haven't fixed it by that time I'll pass it on to him.

I think that it was me messing around with my sound options to get Prototype to work :( Either that or patch 1.6.

Skykappa, I'm going to emai the .esp file on to Sesom now. He already has the revised dialogue and quest structure. For the last time, I'm sorry that I couldn't have helped more. Still, looking forwards to seeing this finished!

Puffy, I'm glad you enjoyed ComicCon :) Does your boyfriend suspect anything yet? ;)

No Problem Attentater5,

Thank you very much for all your efforts, honestly, it`s much appreciated by myself and everyone involved I`m sure. We`ll be sure to still include you in the credits too. I really hope you get your GECK issues resolved soon.

Many thanks and wishing the best of luck to Sesom as he steps up to bat! Fingers crossed for no GECK crashes!

Take care

Hmmm... Thanks ;) . I watched a whole season of a strange reality tv show with 50cent on the mtv website to get in the right mood ;) . But i can't say that i like this guy named Kaiser.

I've got the latest esp from Attentater5 (thanks) and was able to aid dialogue so it works in my configuration. I heared that bethseda also use xp only, maybe thats my advantage. There are some navmesh issues in this esp, i think that these are the issues that are already solved. If possible, i need the other files (meshes, textures, ...) to make it easier to work on (i hate the red triangles ;) ) and a esp without navmesh errors.
