But me not so sure 'bout thi 'ere disc- ipple thingy... sounds like something tree-Dogg would wants. Mebby me asks him. He also always nice to Me and makes the tinmen not make mean jokes of Acky...
Just like the soldier humies of the bird-foot gang.. but bossman says they're badguys, so me just rips their heads off.. cuz it's ok.

Hmm, me thinks it does sounds much more better sounding than just Acolyte, yup.

Acky is kinda cant see good cuz of sweating eyeballs but me is real happy to be not in the wastelands anymore.. and to have bossman and little bossman and the nice place to live with no holes anywhere and the 'puter box with all the nice 'puter box peoples in it that help me's get better at being not a monster anymore, but more like a peoples so that me never scares little bossman with what me was.. cuz thats no good.

I love you Acky! :D
:hugs:

thx, dude. You guys keep me sane.
And just before anyone asks; yes, this is me being sane :D

coming from waay out in left field back on topic:
I recieved an email from my ISP just now -why I recieved it at 11:45pm on a Sunday evening is one of those internet mysteries I still don't get, but anywho..
translated it reads
Dear customer, We are aware that you are experiencing difficulty in accessing all available internet services
[it's slow as hell, dial up would be better atm]
which is due to technical issues we are currently solving with the expedient implemenation of tested solutions.
[we screwed up like we screwed up before and have to fix it, again...]
We are confident that full internet access to all services will be available as soon as possible
[which will take 'whenever' to get done]
with limited access capability until fully restored
[and I'm screwed and stuck with it until then]
We hope to have informed you of the situation
[huh?]

Aren't they nice :gun:
So I'll keep trying to up-load.. It'll get there eventually :)

Andy

Disc-ipple Acky went and asked tree-dogg 'bout the stuff but he didn't know what a Ipple was neither did he.. nope. but it still sounds good and important too, it does.

Woo hoo!!!

A THIRD thread for us, plus the return of MUTANT acky!!!

What more could one or even a hundred and one ask for???

When all this is over, I intend to create a quest and dialogue for Algeron Arkroyd Abercrombie...that was his name before he became 'Acolyte'. I shall make him pre-mutation the town doofus who loved setting off firecrackers and doing practical jokes.

In mutating this inclination to goofiness turned into...

ACOLYTE...

...asssissted of courssse by the assssininty of Bosssssssman...

I have completed everything except for the dialogue, for the third time. Could somebody please link to somewhere that I can download the latest GECK patch from, without signing up for anything?

do you guys think it's getting to the point of finishment? do you think that if i left to comic con, that i could download it there, at someones house, then put it on a usb stick drive thing? and then take it to the con, and load it up? does it work like that?

attentater... when i read your post, i seriously got butterflies. wow. :D i have been trying to calm myself down and think...this is amazing, and even if we can't do it during nerd-central-con...it will still be the most amazing thing AFTER the con. :) but for some reason, after i read your post...i got fluttery because it almost feels like we might be able to pull this off. what do you think, guys? (only only only if you think it can work. :) otherwise, just let me know that we should wait for it to mature after the convention).

i'm so excited that attentater has overcome everything and feel so bad that he had to do his part so many times. just glad you don't have to do it anymore. :(

i need to take acky to the con to brew up some attention for when he plays the mod. :P

jk, but you guys,,. :) just let me know what you think. because if it is a possibility, i need to figure out WHERE to do this. LOL. and if you guys have any ideas, i would appreciate them, too. :D

----

omg you guys. this means we are coming up to the part when he will get the ring! AHH! lol. these little things hit me in sections and i get excited about each little part. the box..the ring box. wow. ! and the box in game, with the RING. its just amazing. wowowowowowowow. this also means that i need to practice getting down on one knee or maybe 2 knees. omg! i am so scared lol. my dress is BRIGHT YELLOW. anyways. i am going to continue daydreaming because thats what i do best. :-D

we are going on a family reunion campout the weekend after comic con, and i want to tell my family, Then. eee!

sorry. getting ahead of myself. composure. composure. lol. *breathe innnn, breathe ouuut...*

The great thing is that it would cost huge amounts of cash to build something like this for-pay.

It's great that the fellas are pitching in like this, it will make the experience unique in the Fallout3 world.

And hey if the bombs really do fall, at least you can say, "Bah, already been there, got married in the wasteland. Bring it!".

Cheers and good luck with it all. :)

you are so right. so so right. i went to bethesda to see if there was any way possible to do something like this, i didn't even know that mods existed. so you can imagine how excited i was lol. then, on top of that...these guys all pitched in and took over and organized and sourced everything that they needed to bring this project together in an amazing way. wow. i would have been so proud of myself for making a dialog box that just read what i wanted it to. i might have been able to take it a step further but NOWHERE near where it has been taken now. this project was going to be kindergarten status and lasting 3 seconds. lol. (sad.) but i still would have been able to do what i wanted through the game, which was amazing for me. NOW..now...can you see how much it has grown from my little "blip" of a project? it's overwhelming. :) i want everyone to know how amazing of a project this is, and how amazing the people behind it are. because, without your help...you have no idea how poor i am. LOL...this would never have even existed. it's all YOU. all you. that's all i can say. :) <<<333

lol, that's the funny part. i have never played a mod before. haha. *shy*

i didn't even know what a mod was, until i got here. so maybe i should download a mod online, then try it out to learn how to play one. the only thing i cant get... how will he know where to go to find the building? i know there is some kinda game magic behind it. lol. i just dont know it yet. ;)

i think you get a mod, put it in a folder, then load from the startup menu? but after that, i have no idea. pff. lol. :D i will learn, because its verrrrry important. but i can imagine that it shouldnt be too hard, right? :)

After that... it just is. :P

Once you activate the mod it's in your game. In this case, the building will show up wherever it's placed and he'll be able to talk to all the characters.
There's no magic behind playing a mod. Some might be a bit tricky, like RTS or other more complicated mods that use FOSE. But most mods are very easy to play, just make sure you read the readme. :)

Dont Worry Puffy.

As soon as I get the completed parts back from Attentater5 and Old Andy so I can piece them together, I`ll write you a complete and simple installation guide for this mod.

Mmmm, Did you say http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/5266/yellowdress.png eh?

Take care

Righty,

Looks like were missing the deadline, presenting this at Comic-Con is not going to be possible since its tomorrow.

Apologies Puffy, I`m sure you understand that we all tried our best to meet the deadline.

Especially Attentater5 who has had to re-do his part multiple times! At least the parts that me and Andy have done, we have only had to do once. So a kudos to Attentater5 for his efforts.

Hopefully, we`ll be able to bring this to a satifactory conclusion soon. I know it will be a dissapointment not to be able to present this at Comic-con (maybe a relief too lol), but at least it gives us a little more time to make this perfect, and maybe gives Puffy a little more time to find another venue or occasion?

Attentater5, If you have edited the dialogue I wrote for Kaiser, can you forward it to Sesom so he can record the lines?

If you havent edited them, let me know, then I`ll forward on my version of Kaiser`s script to him.

Everyone, please stay positive on this, we can still make Puffy`s dream happen.
