For example, i speak about this windows's building "Mir_MNH01.NIF".

Yes i know it, that was the Vurt's work. :P
But your retextures are great and the trunks/roots deformed of these trees ("Mir_Canyontrees.NIF.NIF") are splendid ! :mohawk:

Nice =)

Are people enjoying the resources?

I will be back with updates to the Mod next week probably =) On the horizon lies much better trees and roots(since i need to learn how to do this properly anyhow) and some Middlenight architecture, remade from scratch.

Bump, hate not to see this on at least 1st 2 pages.

Haha just found something funny. I just read that you base some of your inspiration on FF. That actually made me laugh quite a lot, since I kinda drain inspiration from there as well. Can't wait to make some bigger chunk of landscape and compare with your pics (which will make me a bit sad, I can already tell, you're a great landscaper!).

Hope you'll give some new screenies out soon, great stuff :goodjob:

File isn't there anymore. Yet another file lost on that site, eh? :(
Though this isn't the thread to bring up another modder's WIP I think.

Yeah, Papill6n's post seems a bit random?? I've just tried to download that file, though, and it works just fine.

Thanks for releasing this resource pack, C_Mireneye :trophy: I hope to see more screenshots of your beautiful and unique TC in the future :)

Hmm. Tried 10 times in a row, logged in and got this white page saying file didn't exist. Just tried it again and was able to download. Glitchy site now I guess...

Back on topic though, the models in this, C_Mireneye's I mean, are really incredible!

Glimpse

A glamorous world with a twist.
A future with hope.
Hope that overshadows the truth.

Lore confirming that there will be some action in "Hexagonica" in one form or another. I'm looking into merging the two projects right now. Hexagonica will act as an addon to Kinscavion and will be developed more or lesss separately if at all at this point.

Thank you for your continued support. I will bring you something rediculously cool to drool over in the next update!

Lorewise they were always connected.
Hexagonica is one of the stories of creation, one way people believe the entire cosmos was shaped.

Some new screens, modified a bunch of meshes to make building the mountain ranges a bit more fun:

Hi, Mireneye, first of all, congratulations for your very good work.
I downloaded Kinscavion and then the resource. I checked them in nifskope and wow, man, the quality is more than good.
Love the textures, the see-through effects on crystals and the roundness on some rocks.
Sylvin windows are original and well-done too. Being honest, every mesh and texture deserves a ten :)

I couldn't complete Kinscavion distant land generation in mge because of an "out of memory" error message, and this mod without distant land, sure it's not the same.
Has anyone tried to run the esp and distant land generation? Perhaps it's my poor comp XD It couldn't parse so much awesomeness O o;;

Another thing that amazed me was the size of the esp. It's one of the biggest I ever downloaded with the exception of TR maps, 40mb esp.
That makes me question how big is Kinscavion, and if it's divided in regions.
As far as I know or seen in screenies, it's a total conversion mod with the action located in an alien planet.

There's any sign of civilization in it? I mean, are the sylvin alive and living in communities, are any settings or quest done, or in the works?
I read you plan to make a fusion of Hexagonica and this mod. Can you give some more details about it? :)

Thanks for your time and constat effort in this project. Hope to hear more from it :)

First, thank you for thoroughly checking it out =)

Did you try to create it in two steps? And yes the mod is designed with MGE in mind without it some things will probably look really weird when rendering, heck it still will. MW loading wasn't made for Kinscavion sized meshes. Thinking on how to split them up to solve that. Crystals have been my main focus, happy you like them =)

Kinscavion was really never a big planet. One of the things I think that boosts is that the entire land has a vertex texture map imported to give a sense of detail and color. In testing I think that as much as doubled the size of the esp. There are also oddities to how the ESP was made and therefore I don't think the size is as small as it could be.

Regions? I suppose. It's all one island, but it's divided between rulers. "Rule of kinscavion" a document I have is a slightly outdated piece of lore that's specific to the rulers of kinscavion, their heritage and what they have done in their lifetime.

Totally right. One of many planets in my little cosmos.

Sure.

The original playable races (and also makes up the largest population) is the following: Human, Snow Leotaur, Goblin and one further race that I'm revising the name of. Way back when I was making this I wanted EVERY npc to be important, no filler NPCs at all. I have switched my design philosphy since then because creating a whole family tree with lore for every npc was just to much work for a close to 1 man team effort :P

Hexagonica is one of many creation stories that some people throughout Kinscavion believe in. I have some other ones as well but Hexagonica is the one that has the highest possibility of actually being true.

Hexagonica as a mod was meant to have the player sort out a conflict between dreams and reality, now it will serve as a location you can visit in some form. Not saying how.

Cheers!

Yes, I checked that Mge option in land textures, but the real problem arises in the Statics creation.
I wish I could give more memory to that process, but I don't know how to do that and if it's possible to do something like this.
If I add any extra, the Statics generation crashes and gives that annoying "out of memory" error message.
I can't even check the "interior water statics" without suffering a crash.
I don't have a bad comp, it has 2 cores and 4gig memory, but it seems it can't handle some processes.

Thanks for the response in my other questions :)

This gives me an idea. Will try it later tonight.

If people have problem with getting MGE to make the statics/distant land correctly I will try to compile together a file with some medium ish quality settings for you to download.

@ChakraCG I'm happy to hear that. I'm however pretty noob when it comes to the CS, but I can make rediculously high poly meshes :P I adore your interior work!

At last I got distant land generated for this : D

I gived mge priority in the cpu list of tasks.
It was close to crash, but didn't : D

I've been able to create my breton, talked to God and coc'ed to Sylvin (a pity Better heads and Westly head pack crashes when I try to use).
Only kinbasics.esm and kinscavion1.1.esp can be checked on the list, otherwise, the game crashes.

Here are the error messages I have:

"unable to locate cell (-29, 23) in Escort Pack Init"

This one appears always.

"Expression error unable to find cell id 'Tel Fyr' in script delyna Script"

This one appears when I try to load beauty packs to enhance the breton's appearance XD
I suppose custom classes usable in Kinscavion will come with it's own beauty packs : )

A chest in the starting zone with some weapon or cloth will be very appreciated.
The starting zone in Sylvin appears very meshy to me. Lots of trees and grass floating, and fake distants disappearing when I run through them.

I ran the equivalent to 2 km to find Keltrock Passage, there I took very nice screens of keltrock formations ^ ^
I admired the textures on rocks and other rock formations. These are really impressive at night.

The world map is running correctly, I can see the island shape perfectly.
Another annoyance is grass, I suppose this is because I ran mge distant and all with the complete list of esm and esp's.
I now realize the mess is caused by that.
This has to be played in a Clean Morrowind, with nothing else, only generating distants for kinbasics.esm and kinscavion.esp.
I'm new at total conversions!!!!

I think this leads to a necessary Readme and a link in this page to the downloadable Esp and Esm.
This way people can test this properly. It's fairly easy to say "this is awesome" and nothing else. I like to experience it :)

Edit: I'm trying to run distant land on a clean morrowind install, only mge and Kinbasics.esm and Kinscavion.esp, it crashes when I try to generate land textures.

It's necessary to have Morrowind.exe patched to 1.6.1820? Ok, patched, tried to run... failed... more trys tomorrow.
I' now thinking I'll try to generate two distant lands on my complete installation. I'll tell how it goes :)
