There will be a proper readme when there is an official release. The reason for this release is mostly because I have no idea when I have time to continue and I'd hate to leave people empty handed. I have done that many times before and I'm sick of that part of my life :P

The second error is a new one for me. Kinbasics is basically a clean ESM but it shares errors with the clean ESM it's based on. I have tried to fix the escort error but the normal remedies does not seem to work, I will continue to invesitgate.

You are right I should mention that only these two are supposed to be running. Since it is a TC by nature. Sorry. I could have said at least that, thanks for your patience, I'm also new with all of this.

The ground texture is blotchy but Is going to be updated soonish, in time for next release.

Night time has always been a focus for Kinscavion. Kinscavions original art form was "Fairytail gone wrong" since then it has become a bit more real but I do like colors!

I'm happy you got it to work. Having two distant land folders to switch between should be perfectly possible. Also I have a grass ESP specifically for Kinsvavion that will maybe be in the next release.

BB and BH should work. Anything pluginless should tbh.

Thanks for the testing!

EDIT: Oh I hope you get it to work cleanly. It's such a nice land after all haha. I kind of feel sorry that you have to struggle so hard with it.

Best of luck!

I got it ^ ^

Two different distant land generation is the perfect solution to this.
I even got higher specs and a nice and clean distant land / statics generation.

40 files generated
16 mb distant land archive generated

BB/BH doesn't work because they depend on Morrowind.esm, but that "tel fyr" script error persists even if I check Morrowind.esm.

The Readme does not need to be extensive, only a warning of what a TC is and a simple installation and Mge generation guide for the two files.
Don't worry about people, the mod is yours and only yours and you mod for fun.
advlt people will understand that. I had /have/ will have patience with alpha mods because I'm a sort of modder too and understand the big amount of work put into this :)

Now some more testing results.
During Low quality Mge statics generation, two textures were missing:
mir_glyphs.dds
metal_rost.dds

A warning message appears if you don't check the "yes to all" button:

"TES3 Stream Warning: model 'meshes/CarriageInsides.nif' tex not found' c:/testbed/textures/mir_wall01.dds"

Same message for:

/mir_mat.dds
/mir_wall01.dds
/mir_mat.dds

Skipped all this, and created again my breton.
He's very happy now, because he can explore widely a clean and beautiful landscape :)

I'll check in deph the resource in the editor in another session. Today I'm happy to make this run properly.

I'd been thinking on custom races; you could ask Westly, he's a total master in that :)

Interesting. I think I have some of those fixed already. Heck some of those textures aren't even supposed to exist any more. I will have to go through the meshes and make sure they have their textures properly assignes. The testbed folder is a place I test meshes out and make final adjustments before I get them into the game. It helps keep things clean when working with many files & naming conventions and alpha/beta variations of meshes. I suppose I just missed updating a reference in a .Nif.

Also I do dislike the term TC. Mostly because it has a bad ring to it in this community. I'd say this is rather a pretty large mod.

I think you must have almost single handedly given me the information I need from testing. Ivaluable, I feel much relieved now and I think I can go on without having to worry to much and just fix up these small issues =) Before I felt I needed to know it worked before I could totally go on with it.

Thank you =)

I'll add your name to list of testers for the Readme =)

I meant no offence using the term TC, didn't know it was not a good reference in the community. Very sorry.
I did the testing to satisfy my curiosity, really like your meshes and the background you created for your story.

If I can be of help in future releases, I'd be happy to test again :)

No problemo =)

In other news I have nighly created a new rough timeline of events connecting the stories together in a clear way. It ranges from year 0 to 1200 something and has references to when things happen in correlation to my stories.

I'm much into writing right now so I'm assuming more lore is on the horizon.

I need some inspiration for the area Duskveil, it's basically a ash-desert/mountain area.

I have no idea tbh. Seeing how it seems to flow I like to think of it as water that is poised with some mineral coloring it.

It doesn't give off the same feeling as lava does, imo.

That's not lava. That's what's left of the gulf coast marshlands after 60+ days of oil pollution from the BP Deepwater Horizon disaster. :nuke:

If that is the true source then thank you! I can however not find any more sources of pictures of this?

Horrible thing really.

Haha.....

Scroll about half way down and you will find the photo with the caption, "Orange alert: Nickel tailings from mining operations near Sudbury, Ontario. (Edward Burtynsky/Mongrel Media)."

That is a very usefull site sometimes. :)

I like the rock formation in the background. And the the crystals I enjoy every time I see them, they have a fantasy look but are still believable. :goodjob:

Thanks mate, now with that info I also got this picture from same/similar phenomenon:
http://www.metiviergallery.com/img/artwork/burtynsky_tailings_36_lg.jpg

Good inspirations =)

About that rock formation, it looks good in distance but I kind of messed up the feeling you get when you are close. I'll do a quick test to see if that can be fixed else I'll remake it. Very simple really.

As for crystals they are not where I want them to be yet. I tried most of the tricks I know, maybe reflections/bump etc would be an interesting path to try with them. I set the bar for my crystals at FFXIII level :P It's getting there sooner or later.

Thanks people!

Keep it up! :goodjob: and show us more!

Do crystals have caustics???

I suppose they can project them...

Oh and I'm a bit limited since I'm on my laptop so I'm working on some fairly basic clutter stuff like this hoodoo mask:
http://i45.tinypic.com/x3bdr4.jpg

Textures/color and modelling is all subject to change. I have a few more clutter objects in the pipeline but meh. I'd rather show things in engine.

Thanks people!

Anything that refracts can potentially create caustics. :) That mask looks amazing. :)

Good to know =)

I'm not sure if it's a mask, interior clutter or an amulet yet. Not even sure I need it for Kinscavion. I don't know if I mentioned it but I wrote a timeline and it helped me see what I need to flesh out lorewise. Probably I'll post a short-story Ingame book here when done. It's a piece about the creation of the current cycle of cosmos.

Last image is a tease :P It a key to lore that is yet untold. And I figure it may be a secret until you yourself find this in-game once there is lore and quests in place.

Well I'll release a new resource pack in these days. Just DL that and you can have pretty much as much fun as I*m having!

The blue version will need some tweaking. It's to transparent at some parts and it needs to appear cleaner. It's just a recolor of the red variation but it did not work just as well.
