Thursday morning at 2:36 AM my wife and I welcomed our newest addition, Harlie Quinne! 21 inches, 8 lb 15 oz. (with a 14.25" head - OUCH!) She's beautiful and as healthy as can be.

For anyone that DOESN'T know, Harlie Quinn is a character from Batman. I'm a huge Batman nerd. If she had been a boy, her name would have probably been Bruce Wayne - but only because my wife refused to let me name any sons after myself. That's a moot point at this point tho, because she had a tubal ligation Saturday. (Also, Harlie was my wife's grandfather's name.)

That's the midwife in the background. For some reason the nurses didn't call her until the baby was crowning (coming out). They were supposed to call her when any cervical change happened. She BARELY showed up in time to deliver (they basically were shoving Harlie back in waiting for her to arrive).

She weighed 8-15 when she was born, was down to 8-6 when she left the hospital, and yesterday at her 1-week appt. she was at 9-1. She's our little porker!
