[REL] Torch Toggler

Post » Fri Mar 25, 2011 12:07 am

All right, it's time to release my first mod. It's a very simple mod that allows a torch to be equipped/un-equipped with one quick-key stroke. Just place the "torch toggler" item into a quick-slot of your choosing and if you have a torch in your inventory it will equip/un-equip it.

I would like to thank Abot and Peachykeen for their help in the making of this mod.

This is a pretty cool idea, I've never actually even thought to put torch's in my quick slots, saving those for regular used spells and weapons instead, but still, congrats on the release! :D

Great idea. I always hated hunting through my inventory for a torch only for it to go out and then having to hunt down another. Question though, if you had a shield up then hit the torch quickslot it goes replaces the shield, but if you hit the torch key again does the sheild come back up?

At the moment no it doesn't, sorry. I really should have explained that this is only good for non shield wearing or non 2 handed weapon characters. If I had some way to reference equipment slots or last item added to inventory (i think oblivion has something similar to this in OBSE) I could have it re-equip your shield, but I couldn't find anything that does that in MWSE.
