Torsos invisible

Can EVE cause male torsos to disappear? A huntsman's vest-wearing beggar had no torso...how can I show my load-order to you guys?

Did you install the stock replacer for EVE, and do you have BSA Redirection set in OBMM (Utilities > Archive Invalidation.)

Yes, I have the EVE_HGEC_BodyStock_and_clothing replacer.
And the BSA redirection is checked.

Do you use BOSS to sort your load order? One of those plugins is probably overriding Robert's plugin. You should really install Bash and get a Bashed Patch, in order to take care of this issue with the least work.

Edit: Do you have the stock replacers for Robert installed? If you have the OMOD-Ready version of v5, the OBMM installation would've taken care of that. How much of this was working before, and what all is broken at this point?

I do not have BOSS, I don't know how to get Bash or even know what it is. I don't have stock replacers for Robert's, and where is the OMOD of the v5?

Last time I tried to install Bash it didn't work...installing too many things.
Boss is unnecessarily confusing.
I can't do this.

How is BOSS confusing? You just have to double-click on the BAT file to run it. That is the simplest of the tools, and it takes about five steps (six if you use Vista or Win7 64-bit, maybe) to install Bash. The other option is to not use multiple plugins that modify the vanilla race records or tweak one to include the other's changes.

Edit: I do not see anything overriding Robert's plugin, so you should still be able to install v5 and have outfits start showing up, at least. Ren's mod is "broken" by Robert's plugin loading after it, but you cannot do much about that without modifying one of the plugins or installing Wrye Bash.

Fortunately, I have written a tutorial about tweak Ren's plugin to include Robert's changes - http://tesivpositive.animolious.com/?page=merging_ren_and_robert_male

Robert's didn't even install correctly and I am getting very annoyed(not with you)...the textures are screwed up
edit: And I did the tutorial thing you mentioned and there was zero difference.

What happened with the install? The textures would be messed up if the correct textures are not being referenced, which would be the case if the plugin was not pointing to the correct textures. Try this:

1) Disable all plugins except for Robert's plugin (and the Oblivion.esm, of course.)
2) Start a new game.

Does everything display correctly?

The body textures appear correctly but there's still the invisible torso problem.

That would be the stock replacers not installed properly. You said something about the install not working. What happened? Try reinstalling it, and make sure it overrides whatever.

I meant the Robert's body mod didn't install because of the textures which work when all mods are disabled. The stock replacer I used from http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21055 did absolutely nothing.

Just installed http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20328 and torsos are now visible, but my game lags badly. :banghead: :brokencomputer: headache incoming.

No, Robert v5 comes with the stock replacers bundled. You do not need to do a separate download. When you installed Robertv5, did you choose yes when you were prompted to overwrite anything? Also, the mod is installed properly if the textures are displaying when all other mods are disabled.

"I meant the Robert's body mod didn't install because of the textures which work when all mods are disabled." <-- Please, clarify. How did you verify that the v5 Male Body Replacer was not installed, and when you say "all mods are disabled" does that mean that you disabled Robert's plugin as well?

Robert's was not disabled during the texture test process

EDIT: The lag was just a one time thing, I restarted and it's gone now. Textures on the body are messed up(of course) once I reactivated the other mods.

That stock replacer is not for the body type you installed, if you installed the version of Robert's mod that I linked. I have not used that replacer. Could you please uninstall that replace, reinstall Robert v5 beta and post the OMOD Info here? Please, use spoiler tags as well. I would like to see the list of installed files. I wrote the script for and repackaged v5 beta into its OMOD-BAIN-Ready format, so it would be nice to know if the script is not working...

Definately get BOSS. Such a simple way to sort your load order. Even if you do find it confusing at first (although I'm not sure how) it's well worth it for if you ever encounter problems like this or when you start accumulating a sizable amount of mods.

I only installed the replacer to make the torso invisibility problem go away, and it did. The "OMOD-BAIN" alternate file came with way too many subfolders that I didn't know what to do with.
edit: And I can't make it into an OMOD through conversion data because every time I've tried with any mod, it doesn't work.

You are supposed to add the entire archive to the OMOD. There is nothing to do with the subfolders, and there is no reason to extract the archive. That is the whole point of making a download OMOD-Ready. The user just needs to pack the archive into an OMOD and activate it, no other work necessary.

What is that TTB plugin? I don't see any possible candidates for butchering Robert's changes, but I don't know what that is.

Edit: 1) Launch OBMM 2) Click 'Create omod' (bottom bar) 3) Click 'Add archive' in the OMOD creation window, and browse to the Robert v5 archive. 4) Click 'Create omod'

TTB is a thieve's belt change, nothing big. Read my edit also in my previous post.

I did not mention OMOD Conversion Data. I said the archive was OMOD-Ready. Doesn't work does not mean much to me. What doesn't work? Is OBMM not working or what? Do you not know how to add archives or something? Did you see the edit in my previous post?

So I created the OMOD but when I double clicked to install, errors "invalid argument" popped up but so did the boxes that ask "Do you use SI?" and such.

What did the error say? The question is part of the installation script. I want to troubleshoot the problem right now. OMOD Conversion Data does not work does not make sense to me.

"Invalid Argument to CopyDataFolder
00 core files\meshes is not part of this plugin on line 7"
(I copied and pasted the script to the "edit script" button)
