but I'd be pleasantly surprised if there are actual cliffs and geological features, less Horizontals and more Verticals in the mountains.

That looks more like an illustration rather than in-game graphics.

The only thing I don't like is that straight shadow near that broken bridge.

tombofsoldier's original picture is from a Crysis mod called 'The Call of the Fireflies'. They did some beautiful work on those maps.

The main problem with Crysis's 'Winter' assets is that it is a tropical-environment in a winterised atmosphere. So all the trees/shrubs/ground formations/rocks are slightly wrong. But some of the other effects there are great.

No, that's Bruma. It looks different when you're seeing it from outside the cell.
