I wish traveling merchants would be tougher so they don't get killed by other NPC's/Monstors. Is there a mod that makes them tougher or gives them more body guards?

There are many, many mods that make the Travelling Caravans 'essential', 'tougher', or 'respawnable.' Head to FO3Nexus and type "caravan" into the search box.
