I'd like to use town and city overhauls that add clutter etc., making the towns/cities seem more "realistic" and "immersive", but they must also work with as many mods as possible. For example, I like JK's Skyrim a lot, but I noticed several issues with NPC pathing caused by added carts etc. in the towns and also slight compatibility issues with Holiday as both place stuff in the same places. Also, I've read that it has issues with Immersive Citizens. In short, I had to let it go for compatibility reasons. I'm also not a huge fan of ETaC, which is an excellent mod, but I thought it changed too much when I tried it a year ago, plus it had issues with at least one quest at the time, which was annoying. Might give it another shot if it's compatible with other mods. Also, while I really like Open Cities, I've decided to skip it for this install.
Basically, I'm looking for town/city overhauls that:
1. Sticks close to vanilla but adds detailing so the cities/town seem more "alive".
2. Are compatible with the main game (i.e. NPC's don't walk into barrels or whatever), Interesting NPCs, Immersive Citizens (which is a new addition for me and seems amazing) and Holidays.
Any tips are appreciated.
