Ok I was doing a little research on the towns in Skyrim and to my surprise I found out most of the towns have had gladiator Teams which makes me feel a little differently about the lore of the game and that there is no Arena or gladiator games in the game since obviously the Arena and Gladiator games where a big part in Skyrim. Here are some teams from the towns in Skyrim I found out. What do you think??? I know im a lore nut and all but do you guys think the game will have some say about the teams that represent each town or would it just be left out. Dawnstar town: Avenger

Rifton town: Furies

Solitude town: Ravagers

Whiterun town:Devastators

Windhelm town:Paladins

Winterhold: town:Annihilators

Well, the game is set in 4E 200, and during a civil war, so maybe things have changed. Hopefully there'll be some reference to it in game though.

Yea that is true but I really hope there books in the game or something that will talk about these teams more I would love to know more about them and all

Well to be fair those teams are from TES 1: Arena. The whole game was originally going to be based around arena fighting. During development it evolved into a full blown RPG though and the rest is history.

Maybe Bethesda just felt like they would be treading old ground there or perhaps they didn't want to do it unless they could make it really deep and satisfying and decided to do it as an expansion. I'm hoping for the latter, some kick ass DLC.
