I had some characters ask me if I wanted to trade?

you are given a prompt to accept or decline. I accepted but I didn't see anything happen....??

So, how does this work ???

If you're talking about last beta.

Sometimes it may bug out due to other requests made to the server, such as speaking to an npc, or having an action with another player. Easily fixed bugs though.
