Im planning on playing a Nord as well, but not the Gameplay guy. He's too young. I wanna play a disgruntal war vet.

awesome, wasn't that originally going to be the count of anvil?
his name is Dovahkiin

Dovahkiin is what he is not what his name is. That is like saying your real name is actually American Citizen, or your real name is Caucasian. Its what he is, not what his name is...

Hell, yes! I'd really like to play the game with that character.

I cannot tell what race he is (Breton, Nord or even Imperial?) but I strongly hope they planned to made him the default character of his race.

Not for my first character, but probably for my second. And he'll look different :) even if I can't make a face to look just as good, I still can't ever play with a default face.

Some post have been removed. It would be wise to read up on our http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/724862-forum-rules-and-general-information/ before I start handing out warnings.

Call me a noob, phony, fake or whatever else your dark hearts can conjur, but, is anyone else playing as the Nord from the trailer? Yeah, i know, im so dumb, but seriously, the dude fits in with the game perfectly. I mean, i'll customise him to a certain degree but i think he's pretty damned cool. I think i'll call him Aeiron (Air - ron). So, who else is doing this? (yes, i will make more characters later on.)

If the default character in the creator is the trailer guy, yeah I might. But with sleeves. Maybe tweak a thing or two but I thought he looked the part as well. They did a nice job there.

If you play as the trailer guy, you should call him Bubba.

I believe that is of Dunmer origin good sir.

He is also the default oblivion character. Imperial I believe.

So yes, he is Bendu Olo. (also confirmed in a screen of skills, name at the top left.)

Might be a good idea for a first/test playthrough of the main quest, sure.

Personally I'll always make my own characters (often radically different from the "norm"; if TES could be said to have a norm) for longer-term and/or roleplaying save files, though.

his name is Dovahkiin

Dovahkiin is not a name, it's a title.

Dovah = Dragon, kiin = Child / Born. Dovahkiin = Dragonborn

Tiber Septim was also Dovahkiin, as was Martin Septim before he... well, I'm not gonna spoil it for you. As for the Dragon language that you learn in the form of shouts, it's called "dovahzaan" - the Dragon Tongue.
