Whats the deal with some of these Trainers ? I can only specifically speak on Heavy Armor and Pickpocket "advanced" trainers Ghoel at that Orc Stronghold and that Kaljiit chick in that caravan.

These 2 seem to do the same thing. I train 1 time with them, and when I revisit no matter what time of day, etc.. they never have the option text to train ! I am not below or above their "level of trianing bracket", and I have tried at all possible times of the day.

Oddly enough, these are the only 2 trainers I have tried and wanted to locate and did, and they BOTH do the same sheet to me.. what gives ?

Anyone else having these issues ?

I haven't had the issue, but there are other trainers for the same skills out there. Mjoll in Riften will train two handed, Vilkas(?) will train heavy armor, etc....

I mainly am trying to get my Heavy Armor up (want it to weight nothing), and well, too my understanding and according to the Strat Guide, the three Heavy Armor trainers are:

Journyman = Hermir Strangeheart in Windhelm

Expert = Gharol in Dushnikn (the Orc Stronghold)

and

Master = Farkas in Whiterun

Now I am currently 55 in Heavy Armor, so Gharol is perfect for me, AND I trained with her once. But everytime I go back, no matter when, she never has the text option of training !?!?!?!

The Master trainer Farkas is part of "The Companions" and will not train you unless you join. And I don't want to join any guilds or "sides" during this game. I'm a loner, rebel, kinda like a wanderer with a obsession for Heavy Armor. HA Ha !!

Anyway, can anyone else verify whether or whether not they have trained in heavy armor with Gharol more than once and to the max level of her training (75) ? As this is totally annoying, due to it happening to me with 2 trainers now, I am beginning to wonder if it is a bug/issue.

As no one is confiming for you, I'll throw in one other tidbit. In Falkreath there is a man that will train master level conjuration. Not the same person, I know, but I have trained with him twice now. Still possible that Gharol will only do it once, but I would venture to say not probable.

Also, even when you return to low level trainers, the conversation option is still there, just not selectable. You should at least show the darkened out conversation option, if it were a matter of "number of times able to train".

Some people do only train once, but there is no conversation option for it. They simply say "follow me, and I'll show how to (X) more effectively". It doesn't appear Gharol is one of these people.

I am leaning in the direction of glitch/bug on this, but what do I know?

What I've seen is, trainers that show 5/5 "could" train you higher, but because of your current character level, you cannot be trained higher until you level enough for the training to not overpower you (was the same in Oblivion). Also, unlike Oblivion, trainings seem to stop at 90 (at least for Conjuration it does).

yeah, it's a trip...I mean, the elf at the thieves guild sistern always greets me with "offer you some training" (archery) but I can only ask him how he got to the guild...go figure.
