Trainers Not Working

Post » Mon Apr 15, 2013 5:27 am

Has anyone had this problem since downloading the new 1.9 patch??

I have tried every trainer that I can find, and they all do not work right. They will take your monies, just like they are supposed to, but you get nothing in return. No leveling. It does seem to be working right, but you do not level at all.

I have tried re-loading saves, clearing the cache, evening leaving the area and /or city and coming back and still the same thing.

What would happen if I deleated all the title saves. Could I re-install them one at a time, or will it re-do all of them??

It will let you do this?? I am on the xbox so I though I should ask before doing a complete delete. Hope that made sense.

It should, go to your DL list and search for it.

I mean the purchase history.

Okay. Let me go look.

It does not show the Title Update in the history, only stuff that I purchased and can re-download, like Dragonborn, but not the patch. The patches go into a file called the title update, and you can either delete the file, move it or copy it. It shows up at the same place where your game saves are on the hard drive.

This happened to me before. I don't know what caused it, but I was trying to level Block. If I looked at my skills page, it showed that the Block level gauge was full. I tried leveling the skill with use, which worked, then training again. That seemed to solve the issue. Perhaps you could try this? Level the skill naturally, then try training again.

I'm PS3 and I haven't tried using trainers yet but I was looking for a long time yesterday. Did you know that in the Eastern side of Skyrim there is an appalling lack of Smithing trainers? Even Eorlund Grey-Mane doesn't train! What madness is this?!

You have to either join the Companions or you already have 90 or above in smithing.
