TL;DR: Is it possible in Fallout 4 like previous Bethesda games to transfer saves from console to PC?

I searched the forum, and unfortunately the only thread I found was locked because the OP stupidly violated a bunch of rules when posting, so it never got an answer other than "try it and see what happens." I'd really like to know as buying another copy of the game just for it not to work is not worth the risk on a tight budget. Thanks!

I don't use xbox, but saw someone ask this question elsewhere, so had a quick search and found this info (you'll want to google for the exact how to).

You need a 360 as well as your xbox and PC. No way to do it without the 360. You'll also need a couple of apps. Go google.

I don't think so at least for PS4. The encryption done on the profile on the new console has not be cracked. You can do that for xbox360 and ps3 but not for the new one.

Yep. PS4 save data has its own format. In this case, it isn't possible until someone manage to create an App to convert it.

It's disallowed for discussion porting a current save from a Console to PC and vice versa.

Yes it's doable - and even if it's does not enable piracy on the Xbox One, it demands third part converters.
