Trapped in elevator. Please say you have a fix.

(SLIGHT SPOILERS)

So I'm trapped in the Parsons State Insane Asylum basemant elevator. I have just finished the quest "The Secret of Cabot House", but I can't leave the building because the elevator gets stuck. I've watched videos of other people leaving the building and for them the elevator shakes and music does not play. For me the elevator does not shake and music plays; then, after about fifteen seconds, the music stops and...nothing happens. Stuck. I've downloaded all the game's patches. I'm up to date on my PS4 firmware, too. I've deleted the game and reinstalled it, but the bug still occurs. I've quit and reloaded my save data a million times. I've tried random things. I took off all of my clothes. I jumped up and down. I shot the elevator up. I blew myself up with a grenade. The elevator hates me, which is okay because I hate it. If it would work again, I'd love it. If you have a fix for this problem, I'll love you, too.

Thank you.

Wel, you are at the "Parsons State Insane Asylum" right now.

What kind or elevator is that?

The wiki doesn't say anything about an elevator.

Also at the quest "The Secret of Cabot House" there is no elevator mentioned at all too.

If there is an elevator it is possible to get around this, and not enter the elevator?

there's definitely an elevator, regardless of what the wiki says. the elevator transports you to an underground, research area, where you have to choose between two main characters of that quest.

Here's the problem. I've finished the quest. You finish it in the basemant. But the only way to get out of the basemant is to take an elevator. This is in Parsons State Insane Asylum. The elevator in question plays music for me, but I've noticed it does not play music for others. When the music stops, the elevator stops. For those asking, yes, I've downloaded the patch. I have no idea why music still plays in the elevator. It shouldn't. I suppose my game is just messed up. svcks, but whatever, I guess.

Do you have a save from before you entered the building to do the quest?

Yeah, I have plenty of saves. I reloaded several older ones and tried the quest again. The quest works; the elevator doesn't. Doesn't seem to matter which save file I use. I think I'll just leave the quest alone for now.

Yeah, at least you're not stuck in there and can move on. Hopefully the next patch will help and you can go back to it.

Is there any possibility your companion is trapped in the shaft? Also you go down one elevator, but after the quest you take the other one to the left. Directly across from the the terminal Jack was using. Is that the same elevator you speak of?

Yes, BackinBlack, that is the elevator I'm speaking of--directly across from the terminal. As for companions getting stuck, not possible. I roll alone pretty much always.
