Trapping the Overseer

I'm just curious, has anyone ever managed to lure a hostile Overseer into the jail, get out and lock the door via the console before he gets out? Does that affect the game in any way (considering 'Trouble at the Homfront'), since he was marked as a hostile when you left him?

Since Butch told me during Trouble at the Homefront that I had saved his mom and I told him that he had given me the Tunnel Snake outfit - both of which didn't happen -, I think it's highly unlikely that the game will keep track of trivialities like an imprisoned Overseer during Escape.

The game wasn`t designed so that you could circumnavigate it by the console, so I would expect weird things to happen if you did that.
