Trashcan Carla is way too important to me so I scraqed a 48hr+ save. On the bight side I can get a fresh start and make better choices in the game.

That doctor (also forgot his name) seems to have a tendency to be on fire. When I met him he was in a battle with raiders, he was standing near an exploding car. The exposion flung him onto a burning pile of rubbish where he was sitting on the ground as non-killable characters do when they don't have any health left. When he regenerated health he would try to stand up, but because he was still on the burning pile, we would again lose health and enter the bleedout stance. He was caught in a vicious circle, till I pitied him enough and teleported him from that burning pile to safety using the console. Was a pretty hilarious encounter.
At least this episode proofs that not all traders can be killed.
No it doesn't prove it.I've seen the guy die and not by my own hand.Take his health away(put him into protective/knockout mode.whatever it's called) and just set a car to explode beside him.
For everyone that thinks their merchants are invincible, they are not! They can die through no fault of your own, though it is rare.
I still think it's the player's fault if a merchant die. Why? Because you're in the same cell!
Ohh, [censored] I wasted her on one of my other saves after taking the money.
I caressed her face with shotgun pellets, myself, after learning about her and friends little secret.
I find it funny that the guards are indestructible but the trader are not. My turrets have killed 3 merchants so far. it always happen when I zone in from fast travel
Yeah, I used the console to make Cricket essential. She sells 5.56 ammo, so she couldn't die.
