March of the svcklers

Life has turned as good as it can get here in the capital wasteland. The water is now purified. The enclave nocked out of the area. The Brother Hood of Steel are cleaning up the super mutant population in the D.C. Nothing seemed to be able to break the process the captial wasteland was making. Within years the capital would start to be restored. Then a invisble fiend apeard. It killed all in its path and spread to any within contact. It was a disease, the svcklers.

Some say the svcklers came from new york city. Some say that china put the svcklers in a bomb and its just now spreading. Some even say it's the Enclaves way of revenge. I say hell with it. Im getting out of here before the disease reaches me. A few of my close friends from Megaton suggested we go to New Vegas. "The trip is far but i hear posotive things coming from there" Richard said.

I have decided to set off west. The trip will take us close to half a year to arrive. We have packed lots of food and have bought a brahmin. "We begin our trip the day after the moro" I declare to my friends. The svcklers have not reached any furthur then the edge of the D.C ruins. The brother hood have declared a complete lockdown and have secured the boarder killing any who wish to enter or exit the location.

While the brother hood was occupied by the svcklers a new force moved in. They call them selves the PNW (Protector's of the New World). "Another Enclave i presume" Tegret say's with a dreadful grin on her face. Tegret is a beautiful women. She wears a nice low cut dress. With a small v down the middle. She is a tempest. Her body is that of a super model.


Errm.... Excuse me. The PNW have taken the southern part of the Wasteland by storm. The Brotherhood of Steel have sent a few number of troops but not enough to stop the PNW. More join there cause every day. This is also another reason to leave the capital wasteland. O, that and i just need a vaction!

This takes place between the events of fallout 3 to the events of fallout new vegas

Can I expect a story any time soon?

Huh? That other story o yea. Dont worry i can do both the storys. And then i created one but i dont know if ill keep it cause when i started writing it i lost intrest.

This is also just a proluge. The adventure starts in the next update.

Okay. But what I'm saying is that you can't do all three stories. Read the rules: One fanfic and one RP at a time. If a mod came in here, he might lock up the stories.

So what he can close them then. Maybe this aint a fan fic hmmmm maybe i can say its a roleplay. and that other one im not working on. i got bored so i wrote some storys that didnt have to do with mine. Im writing the other story The Settlment already on chapter 3
I have it almost done typing up then im gonna post it. Next Chapter will lead to the reason the name is the Settlment.

I going to offer some advice and say stick with one story. There's lots of reasons, and you would probably be better off if you did, but that's just my advice.

Haha im 14 i got lots of time on my hands. I have to already write 3 papers for school. I think i can handle writing 2 more storys. I write the story then i edit it with gramer fixes. If i get upset with you its cause im tired sorry. But I can handle 2 storys and i dont really care what people think. I like to write so im gonna write. Saying o it svcks you should go blow your [Censored] Brains out, will be like saying needs a bit more editing but its good! :mohawk:

nooffence... but the concept of this svcks..... if there is something invading the mid east..... chuna put these monsters in a bomb.... china faces the west coast... this is a haf ass'ed way of transitioning your character from DC to Vegas.... at least have him heading to the california republic for some reason. ....I'm sorry I dont wanna be mean.... i got threw the first paragraph and thought It was bad.... wastelander, you really ought to work on one story at a time. Multiple stories just clutter up the board and there is much more value for the reader and writer in developing a single story instead of writing several short stories. If you really like writing short stories (which can indeed be fun) just make a single thread for you to collect all your short stories. That way people who like reading small self contained stories (which includes me) can access them without it cluttering up the board.

I don't usually like stories that involve people's main characters...especially not when they involve traveling across the post apocalyptic United States (it was stupid when Bethesda did it too)...but this could have a future just the same.

Work on your grammar. We've been nice thus far but if you don't intend to even try to write with some grammar expect the comments to drop off rather quickly. If you don't care enough about your writing to fix simple grammatical errors few people will bother to read it. 14 is very young, and it's awesome that you've started writing that young, but it's not too young for you to click on the Spell Check button.

You've got an interesting story ahead of you though. The trip across the country would be long and rather depressing, do try to hit on some of the inherent sadness of a blasted landscape. And remember that it is usually a character's weakness that makes them interesting, not their strength.

Keep writing, but either focus on one narrative you can build up or create a thread for your various short stories. Look at some of the better writers here. Old_Andy has been writing Memories for...a damn long time, goristhescholar was writing Of Your Shadows for....a damn long time, Lorca has been writing Queen of the Pit since January.

lol!!! i think your rage at what i put is hilarious. Like i said i was throwing it together then decided to stop it cause I HATED THE CONCEPT. And it wasnt a way of transporting my character to new vegas, it was the story about what happened in the years between new vegas and fallout 3.
