Treva's Watch giving underpowered enchanter's potion

Post » Sun Jan 31, 2016 6:16 pm

Treva's Watch is supposed to have a leveled enchanter's potion in it. My character is level 30 and it gives an enchanter's draught.

I checked the leveled list and it's supposed to give:

Regular enchanter's potion below level 10

Enchanter's Draught at levels 10-19

Enchanter's Philter at levels 20-29

Enchanter's Elixir after that

--------------------

The only mods I can think of that might be causing this are OBIS (bandit variety overhaul) and/or the Unofficial Patch mods (I'm using all of them).

None of them fixed it:

Console command: ResetInterior 15200

Clearing Treva's Watch, waiting for respawn

Starting/finishing the Infiltration quest (retake Treva's Watch)

Anyone else have ideas how to reset the leveled list?

No.... but if that's a thing for you (and you're on a PC), just player.additem the appropriate item ID.

Can a developer post an answer (and preferably a solution as well)? There's no point to having a leveled list if it isn't going to actually use the character's level. These problems need to be documented more. I've seen plenty of open source projects with better documentation and support.

I built a mod that overrides the leveled list so it always gives an elixir no matter what level as a temporary solution.

Modders may answer, but no devs are going to. There will be nothing done by Bethesda, period. Modded solution is the best you're going to get. I'm not saying that to be a *itch, they just won't. When they said they were done, they meant it. They have not, and will not, fix anything else with the game. IF they did, it would be something bigger than this, sorry.

Opening up your load order in TES5Edit and checking the leveled lists to see if a mod is overriding the particular list in question is probably your only option. Since you mention making an override mod yourself it should be simple enough for you to check. As was said, no developer is going to answer much less "fix" this as they are long done with Skyrim at this point.
