Tribunal in ESO

Post » Tue Jan 07, 2014 8:24 pm

So, i just bought Morrowind a few days ago and have known the lore about Red Mountain and the Tribunal( Only a little) Will the Tribunal be "gods" in ESO? After reading a wiki, it says they stabbed the heart in the 3rd Era. Is this true? Also, do the Great Houses of Morrowind follow the Tribunal? Are all the Houses of Morrowind in the Ebonheart Pact, any more than the other? Sorry for my lack of knowledge. Thank you.

Edit: If the Tribunal stabbed the heart in the 3rd era, then that would make them mortal or immortal in ESO?

The tribunal are basically Gods. They are present in the game. The Telvanni House is not part of the Ebonheart Pact as they really don't care about anything outside of their own.

The three Tribunal gods (Vivic, Almalexia and Sotha Sil) will most likely be in ESO. The player will probably be able to interact with them with a quest or two; if not, i'm sure all three of them will be referenced in some way (books, NPCs, quests, etc).

And the Tribunal gods were never really immortal, just very, very powerful.

Read up on the lore, it's incredibly interesting. All three of the Tribunal took some part in the disappearance of the Dwemer. Kind of.

The only wiki you should use is "UESP.net." It stands for Unofiicial Elder Scrolls pages.

If you ever happen to see the "ElderScrollsWiki" website, burn it and poke its ashes with a stick to make sure its dead.

Also, you can always pop over to the lore forum on this website. Its not under the ESO section, but the regular Elder Scrolls section.

To answer your question, the Tribunal are at the height of their power at this time. They are widely worshiped throughout Morrowind by all civilized Dunmer, meaning not the Ashlanders (who still worship the Anticipations and their ancestors.)

Should be very exciting for Morrowind players to get a chance to see them at full power.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Main_Page

This is the best TES lore site I know of. Use the search option, it will be your best friend.

They are super immortal. If you kill them they can respawn whenever they want. Sounds immortal to me.

It's funny that before Skyrim came out, Lore Buffs here were telling people to avoid UESP and use http://www.imperial-library.info/, but since Skyrim came out and someone made the Wikia (which is even lower quality on the lore than UESP) we've just been moving people from one wiki to the other.
