Tried to do a no cheat playthrough...

Then I decided, I need more gold. I cheat my way into more gold by using console commands. It is so hard to not use cheats since I use them so much. I'm playing some modded in lore friendly Khajiit types, and my current character is a Cathay-Raht assassin named Droberst. I don't plan to use cheats much, but I found the best non-mod added unarmored trainer near Dagon Fel, and just HAD to get 100k so I could have more unarmored fun. I hate that I did it, but I felt I had to.

Droberst is going to be less cheat filled and he won't be relying on trainers to level up this time. My old character was so boring because I cheated my way to level 50 thanks to that University of Balmora mod. I just have Droberst not even pay it any mind.

Wish me luck on my quest to not be an evil cheater. I'm finding Morrowind fun again thanks to not cheating as much.

Since it's a one player game, you can't really "cheat"
As long as you're having fun, don't worry too much about helping yourself out.

MGE does have an option to disable the console, so you cannot use it.

I don't feel bad for cheating, I just feel that it took the fun out of the game. I refuse to use MGE since I heard it makes the FPS slower, and I have enough mods making the game slower as it is. I have this weird love of putting in mods that add in historical castles. Not sure why, I just love exploring those giant monsters. I also love using multiple house mods to give the game more life to it somehow.

I don't use any external launchers that extend any part of the game ever since MWSE stopped working on my old computer. I have a much more powerful computer now, but I still refuse to use mods that require external script extension. I had to use the console to complete that one Tribunal quest where you kill some guys for a "cause". The reason for this was because every method I attempted just failed. I tried using command spells. No luck. I just set the target's fight to 100, and that quest could finally be called complete. I like to mess around with the game, and the console lets me, so no point in actually making it impossible to use.

Besides, what if I want it to rain elves? Haha.

I usually cheat a little bit in every game...unlocking random chests because I find it crazy that I couldn't bash that flimsy wooden chest open with my mace...using togglecollision to get through NPCs or float between Vivec Cantons if I'm feeling lazy...and especially in late game when I find myself carrying three glass items, a handful of Daedric weapons, some ebony boots, I'll usually sell it all to the creeper for 5,000 gold (retail price would be like hundreds of thousands), and then cheat to give myself 40,000 gold profit for my huge haul and 'call it good'.

My worst offense in my most recent game was I was trying to become the leader of House Redoran and I needed Councillor Llethri's support and I used the console to give me to the ledger needed to incriminate the Ebony Mine owners of corruption because I didn't feel like going out to Caldera. But overall I try to be very honest!

Using the console can help you RP. If you play e.g. a rich merchant/noble, then using the console does miracles.

If you like to "beat" (no such thing in TES, but ok) the game, then using the console might feel like cheating.

Depends on your computer; if it's a decent newer gaming rig, it shouldn't be a problem, but if it is a problem, yeah, you're right.

Exactly. Instead of a variety of starting mods, just coc to wherever you want, then start rp. Et cetera.

Exactly. No such thing as "beating" it.
