Trophies/Achievments for Honest Hearts

I think what concerns Me involving the add ons to the game in comparison to Fallout 3 is the time line. Fallout 3 was released October 2008. The add ons were released almost in two month increments:

Operation Anchorage (January 2009)

The Pitt (March 2009)

Broken steel (May 2009

Point Lookout (June 2009)

Mother ship Zeta (August 2009)

The release date for Fallout New Vegas (October 2010)

Dead money (December 2010)

So in comparison Fallout three has their add ons drop every two to three months.

Might be off on the dates a little, but as We now know going with Obsidian was a mistake and Bethesda should have kept their Fallout 3 developers on New Vegas.

Unless We may see a Fallout 4 with their (Bethesda) new game engine being used on Elder scrolls 5.

Are you serious dude?

Obsidian is the best choice Bethesda has made in regards to Fallout. I'm not one of those people who thinks that Beth should have nothing at all to do with FO - they single-handedly resurrected the IP, after all - but who better to work on such a story-based game then the guys who made that story in the first place? A lot of the developers from Obsidian were in Black Isle and were heavily involved with both FO2 and the original FO3.

Beth's FO3 is a fantastic game but it doesn't have half the depth that NV has. I'm sure Fallout 4 will be much more integrated with the wider Fallout world in that respect but without Obsidian there wouldn't be a New Vegas, because that world was created by the guys in Obsidian.

Why, because Obsidian may be actually making sure the DLC works before releasing it?

Almost every single Fallout 3 DLC had major release day problems. Operation: Anchorage was crash happy and wouldn't work properly offline on PC until the files were reloacted, The Pitt was missing meshes (Due to MS uploading a corrupted copy to LIVE) and still has a 'hole' to deal with, Broken Steel was a little smoother but the accompanying patch broke lots of things, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta were also crash happy.

They were also only dealing with just the PC and Xbox versions since PS3 had to wait ages for their release.

And finally, taking the release date for the PC and PS3 versions of DM into account, the DLC release windows won't be that far removed from the FO3 scheduales.

I really hope they add more achievements than this...thats a really piss poor list, and I dislike that they are all story based, nothing you have to go to out of the way to get. Also, the lack of a "discover all locations" does not bode well for those of us wanting an open area. I dislike how the fallout games DLC only have between 1+2 hundred gamer score added (i.e. only a few extra achievements for you PS3ers), but games like gears of war or halo get to almost 2000 total gamerscore after just three or four map packs....

You're joking, right? I'm just going to assume the answer is yes and laugh on.

Alright just downloaded the new patch and the first thing I went to check was if there were any new trophies added (I'm on PS3). I'm surprised nobody has checked this already. Anyway there are five new trophies and I will list them as such:

"May my Hand Forget its Skill" - Evacuated Zion (gold trophy)
"In a Foreign Land" - Scouted the Zion Valley for signs of the White Legs (bronze)
"O Daughter of Babylon" - Crushed the White Legs (silver trophy)
"When We Remembered Zion" - Arrived at Zion (bronze)
"Restore Our Fortunes" - Resupplied Daniel and the Sorrows (silver)

That's the list they appeared in. No mention of the Burning Man unfortunately. Anybody know who the White Legs or the Sorrows are?

Also, I typed this on my iPhone so sorry for any spelling mistakes and what not.

EDIT: Just some quick notes now that I've read through them again. The first achievement worries me a bit. It says "evacuated Zion". Now to me, that sounds like where leaving Zion after doing something big and we won't be able to go back. Hopefully im wrong, but that's what it sounds like. Also since the trophies were posted with this update the DLC can't be far behind. I imagine will see it released sometime next week (Tuesday's when the Playstation Store's updated so that's a likely candidate).

The patches don't depend on PSN. I just started up New Vegas and it told me there was a patch available. People outside of the United States will hopefully get it soon, seems it hasn't been pushed out to you guys yet (which makes no sense).

I think all the DLC's are going to be like this (unless theres an expansion). Dead Money's trophies were set up the same way as this one (2 bronze, 2 silver, and 1 gold).

Don't understand how a group of people can be voiced by one person. That seems a little silly given the fact that a woman named Michelle Bonilla is http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0094636/ for being the voice actress of White Legs.

Not that unlikely. I'm guessing she won't be voicing the male NPCs, assuming there are any, but it's not like they're going to give every generic spawn its own voice actor.

Soooo..... does that mean we'll be locked up in a new enviroment again until completion of the main DLC quest line? And be unable to return to the new content once we leave it? Just curious...

It'd be very funny in an ironic way if White Legs is a black chick.

white legs because, obviously, they are from a vault, and so are not all bronzed from the Mojave sun.

Wow that means next week we'll get an announcement and then they'll release it in mid may. I'm hoping this is more open world then Dead Money.

Now onto theorys. There is a Mt. Zion in Wyoming however that seems a little too far. It could be new cannan but that to me also doesn't look likely. Zion is based off of Isreal and the Promised land.

The NPC Daniel is also based off of Zion so that's where that name comes from.

The White Legs are probably a tribe either from the wilderness or a Vault (I'm hoping for the latter)

Evacuating Zion sounds like someone is going to attack the town possibly the White Legs. You might be able to choose sides if that's the case. The White legs give you loot you don't defend the town or you do defend the town and the Villagers give you a reward.

Resupplying Daniel sounds like a mission outside of the town. The Sorrows might be another group in town.

Scouting for White Legs sounds like someone in town the Mayor or this Daniel has fears about this group and want's you to find out what's going on. I'm betting you may find out that they will attack the town by scouting for them either by overhearing them, initiating conversation with them or finding a Journal entry type item.

Looking at the list again, it says the White Legs, so it's most likely not one person.

Looks to me like 'White legs' is a person not a tribe..

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0094636/ (last title listed as of 2010)

Unless of course everyone in the tribe sounds like Michelle Bonilla?

THE White Legs are named after White Legs. Like Caesar's Legion is named after him. Or The Kings are named after The King.
