two tribes live there, the Sorrows, lead by Daniel, and the White Legs, led by.. White Legs lol. The White Legs are moving in on the Sorrows turf, so you have to find them and wipe them out.. then lead the Sorrows from Zion to the actual promised land. Or something.

exciting!!

Any one have a good knowledge of the times of prophets and saviours so we can make some parallels. Or would that get to far into religious territory?

Albino Radscorpion......its gotta be.:P

Don't judge a DLC by how many achievements it has. Point Lookout didn't have many achievements, yet it was bigger than the other Fallout 3 DLC's.

Exactly. Point Lookout only had 4 trophies/achievements and it was a huge DLC.

Game updates are hosted on a differernt server than PSN meaning we (PS3 users) don't need to connect to PSN to download patches :celebration:

This whole evacuate Zion thing is wierd, it seems it's attacked by the white legs and we have to clear it out? Or they're already there and we help evacuate prisoners and whipe them out?

I don't know, just some wierd speculation on my part.

White legs is a giant Albino Tarantula. Oh yes, it's true.

Cool :goodjob: My only hope now is that we can get it as a follower and learn to ride it. Imagine entering the battle at Hoover Dam on a giant white spider... that'll give people something to think about. lol

Now onto theorys. There is a Mt. Zion in Wyoming however that seems a little too far. It could be new cannan but that to me also doesn't look likely. Zion is based off of Isreal and the Promised land.

In Utah there is a park called http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zion_national_park (yes, it's a real place). "New Canaan" is also in Utah, so it's very likely we'll finally get to see that place.

It's going to take place in Utah. There isn't really any doubt about that.

What's going to happen there, however, is a different story. Have no idea except the achievement references to evacuation of the Park, White Legs ++

Alright just downloaded the new patch and the first thing I went to check was if there were any new trophies added (I'm on PS3). I'm surprised nobody has checked this already. Anyway there are five new trophies and I will list them as such:

"May my Hand Forget its Skill" - Evacuated Zion (gold trophy)
"In a Foreign Land" - Scouted the Zion Valley for signs of the White Legs (bronze)
"O Daughter of Babylon" - Crushed the White Legs (silver trophy)
"When We Remembered Zion" - Arrived at Zion (bronze)
"Restore Our Fortunes" - Resupplied Daniel and the Sorrows (silver)

That's the list they appeared in. No mention of the Burning Man unfortunately. Anybody know who the White Legs or the Sorrows are?

Also, I typed this on my iPhone so sorry for any spelling mistakes and what not.

EDIT: Just some quick notes now that I've read through them again. The first achievement worries me a bit. It says "evacuated Zion". Now to me, that sounds like where leaving Zion after doing something big and we won't be able to go back. Hopefully im wrong, but that's what it sounds like. Also since the trophies were posted with this update the DLC can't be far behind. I imagine will see it released sometime next week (Tuesday's when the Playstation Store's updated so that's a likely candidate).

Ok that is VERY odd, I expected the generic "killed the burned man" or "sided with the burned man" but as it turns out, no mention of him anywhere.
White legs may be a nickname for him or it could be an oversized critter, or maybe ulysees wears some styling white jeans.
The sorrows must be a tribe, maybe the burned man leads this tribe?
Daniel? http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Daniel_%28Van_Buren%29 the fact that he is from Van Burnen says it all.
And evacuating Zion means a calamity happens (maybe the burned man attacks the village with his own legion and escapes into another DLC) and we won't be able to return there...

Yup, disappointing to say the least (I require more spoilers Obsidian!). I think the Burned Man is going to be separate from each tribe, but if he were to be part of one I would lean towards him being with the Sorrows. Also, thanks for the info about Daniel. Isn't the next DLC (Old World Blues) rumored to be in Tibets Prison?

Hopefully the "evacuated Zion" thing is temporary and we will be able to return. I refuse to believe Obsidian would be so ridiculous as to prohibit us from returning to a national park. If they do, then they clearly have no idea what there doing.

The burned man may be stirring things up around the tribes. And yeah, tibbets prison is the next area, starting place for Van Buren hopefully we will get some info on the prisoner (the protagonist in VB) not only that but Mr.Houses crazy borther is rumored to be in control, him and a crazy Enclave UI.

What do you mean? That the story had ended (which we already know) or that it should not be mentioned? And yes Elijah said it is a Pre-war dump (now it is anyway.

Oh come on it's not that confusing. Alot of the events that happen in Van Buren you hear about in New Vegas, the first battle of hoover dam, the burned man, Caesars legion, Tibbets Prison, New Canaan, the list goes on.

I'm new to posting on the forum, so please forgive me if I break any protocols or fumble. I've been reading the posts over the last several weeks about the upcoming DLC and the theories about what it may contain.

Then today I saw one of the Trophies/Achievements for HH was "Evacuated Zion" and I put that together with the leaked images from the trailer. Specifically that it looks an awful lot like the Grand Canyon. Obviously the Van Buren information on Wikia isn't necessarily what we will see in the DLC, but my brain put the above together and made me think of this bit from it;

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Ballistic_Orbital_Missile_Base_001

"B.O.M.B.-002 did not fare as well. Sometime during the two-hundred years of silent orbit, perhaps ten to fifty years before 2253, something big hit B.O.M.B.-002 and sent it crashing down to earth. Pieces can be found in the Grand Canyon, but how big the pieces are, and if there is anything salvageable, remains to be seen."

Could we be dealing with the tribal people (Sorrows?) inhabiting the remains of the fallen B.O.M.B - 002 and the Burned mans attempt (supported by the opposing White Legs) to acquire the Nuclear devices it had on board? Perhaps with the intention of taking out Caesar/NCR whoever he feels has wronged him?

I can see it being in our best interests to crush this possibility before it becomes reality, as the alternative would be fighting off nukes with my Plasma Rifle?

I'm thinking it may play out that we're going to have to foil his plans by seeking out the launch/activation codes, detonating them but bugging out the Sorrows before hand/or not (Evacuated Zion).

Just a thought, but thought it might be worth sharing.

Zion National Park is an actual park in Utah, USA. One of the major sights of the park is the Zion Canyon.

From wikipedia: "The park is located in southwestern Utah in Washington, Iron, and Kane counties. Geomorphically, it is located on the Markagunt and Kolob plateaus, at the intersection of three North American geographic provinces: the Colorado Plateaus, the Great Basin, and the Mojave Desert."

I wonder how many times this fairly simple information is going to be repeated :P
