right i am playing through the theives guild, i have completed the main story arc and have moved on to the side jobs so i can get to the area influence quests, but slight problem have been sent to whiterun to steal a horn from the man that raves about talos by the tree, simple so far yeah, his house is just across from him but i cant get into it cos its roof is off and the door is blocked what's more there is a guild mark on it which means empty so how do i complete the job? is it because i played through the civil war story arc and the storm cloaks attacked whiterun? if so will his house get fixed? any help is very much appreciated thanks

Im stuck with the same issue. As of yet there is no real fix. However if you are on the pc, you can use the console to place yourself in the house. If on a console like myself.. Well we shall wait and see come this patch....
