Trouble exporting a .NIF file in Blender

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 1:49 am

I get the error "Texture 'Tex' must be of type IMAGE or ENVMAP" what does this mean? How can I get it to export my .NIF. If it matters I made it myself and UV mapped it.

In that tutorial read the "Material and Texture" section.

The texture is working it is just really really dark, did I miss something I was supposed to do? Would it have anything to do with the Normal Map?

Looks like you're missing a normal map for it, try making one and see if that fixes the problem :)

I made a normal map with CrazyBump, The texture is called "PyramidTrinket" and the normal map is "PyramidTrinket_n" they are both in the same folder and both .dds files, what did I do wrong?

Edit:Nevermind the Normal Map was in compat files.
