Trouble spawning new items in-game

I've made a couple new weapons and placed them in my megaton house using the geck. I save the data and when I start the game, it's not there. Furthermore, when I try spawning it using it's object code in my console window it gives me an error message saying something like "compiled script not saved." It gives me the same message if I try to spawn weapons from Zeta (which I have). I load all DLC data files when I start the game, but my new areas and such are not listed. Any idea why this is happening and how to help it?

Have you activated the data file in FOMM? What error exactly are you receiving in the console? I'm guessing that you've forgotten to adjust your formID for your load order - the first two digits of a formID should be the same as a data file's position in your load order. For example, 00 for Fallout3.esm, 0A for the 11th data file, 10 for the 17th etc.
