Trouble with Fallout 3

Fallout 3 is a great game. When it was first released we played it and played it even though it was freezing. Enduring the headaches and frustration it caused we still tried to the best of our ability to play this game. Thinking the GOTY edition would work we purchased it in hopes the problems were over. We were so disappointed to find out the problems simply continue. How can you sell a game that doesn't work????? The add-ons for the new worlds and missions seemed very exciting but not even 1 minute in and it freezes, glitches or doesn't work properly (i.e., when you beamed up in the spaceship you see 3 aliens, hear some sounds, and see a twitching alien and it freezes and stops COMPLETELY). Unless that is how that scene is suppose to end...if not we didn't get our moneys worth. It is very disheartening and frustrating to say the least. We truly want to play this game in its entirety. We have tried researching online for patches but there aren't any for PS3. It is almost as if the maker of this game doesn't care about its PS3 users. There are other games out there that continually provide patches and fixes to help the gamer enjoy the game and to play it in its entirety to the best of their ability. That is the attitude the GOTY edition should have in my opinion. I have read some of the posts in this forum and see a lot of frustrated loyal fans of Fallout 3 but I do not see any responses from the maker of the game saying that a solution is on the way. Or even an apology or explanation for the problems we are facing. Aren't the fans, the customers, the gamers even worthy of a response after paying hard earned money to a company that may have started out with the customer in mind but now may have forgotten that its customers matter? A little help, compassion and help is all we request.

Any idea as to when or if help will arrive?

Sincerely,
Dedicated

The company doesn't care, the project is over and the devs moved on. Most likely there won't be any other patches and the goty is nothing more but the newest patch and all DLC together in one install. Therefore, the exact same problems occur. I bought it myself a few days ago. So far, everything is quite ok. No freeze, just occasional loading stutters ... nonetheless, I am only 11h in.
