Trouble With the Raiment of the Crimson Scar

Post » Sat Apr 17, 2010 6:32 pm

I'm encountering the glitch where the Raiment of the Crimson Scar (Vile Lair) has the stats of a level one item. Now that I'm high leveled, I would like to get the better raiment. However, I really don't want to go through the trouble of moving all my stuff out of Deepscorn Hollow (If I was to re-install the plug-in). I would like to add the high level item to my inventory using the console. However, I'm not sure what the base ID is. In the UESP, it says that the "object ID" is xx00BE6A. However, when I type player.additem xx00BE6A 1, I recieve an error message. Is this the Base ID? If not, what is the Base ID? Thanks.

EDIT:

I would also like to give myself the high leveled Crimson Eviscerator.

The first two digits-- represented by "xx"-- are assigned to the item by the game. it represents where the esp falls in your load order.

The easy way to find out those two digits is to find a static object in Deepscorn Hollow-- a table or chair or such-- and, with the console open, click on it. It should give you the correct first two digits as part of its number. Then, from the console, you can type in the code you already tried, but with those two digits in place of the "xx".

Thanks a lot! It worked!

For future reference, http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13536 will give you the proper level of leveled items such as DLC gifts and quest rewards, as you level. No mucking about in the console.
