Well, this is embarrassing. My VL transformation is getting progressively more and more buggy. Here are the symptoms:

1. Transformation takes upwards of three minutes to complete.

2. Once transformed, the Vampire Armor that gives my character his appearance never shows up.

3. After Mist Form is used, my VL has no model, can't attack, can't access the favorites menu, etc.

4. No powers work, making reversion to normal vampirism completely impossible.

The Cause:

It seems this is being caused because I have cured myself multiple times, and then went back to vampirism. I tested this theory, and after each consecutive curing, the time it took to transform increased dramatically.

What I Have Done To Try Fixing It:

Not much. I have tried clearing my cache while a VL, but that didn't seem to help. I haven't tried reinstalling DG, yet.

Anyway, does anybody have an idea? I'm on the XBox, but I'm open to suggestions that would work for PC as well (don't ask why ).

Have you reinstalled Dawnguard? I can't think of anything else to do.

Not yet. I'll do that if I can't get this crap sorted out.
