True to Caesar?

If anything they will only be mentioned in gossip and that's fine by me. Besides the fact that Boston and Vegan are very far apart I never cared for Caeser or his band of wanna be Romans to begin with. lf they end up in the game for some reason I'm most likely going to wipe them out.

Sallow is well aware of how far short his Legion falls from the IRL Roman Republic and Empire....because he never intended to emulate either to begin with. The Legion is and always has been about enabling him to return to the NCR, which he left years before as a obscure Follower scribe, as a Conqueror so he can take what he considers to be his rightful place in history alongside Caesar, Napoleon, ect. The Roman motif itself is mere cosplay chosen as the template to impose his Order on uneducated Tribals....he tells you this if you explore his dialog.....behind the Potemkin facade of togas and Latin the Legion is a Totalitarian Regime Hitler or Stalin would have immediately recognized. And, as he tells you, that is entirely by design.

For Sallow, the Invasion of California is his lifelong dream.....he left the NCR a nobody, and yearns to return at the head of an Army to become it's absolute ruler. What is going on more than a few hundred miles from his Eastern border is of little to concern to him compared to that. As for the East Coast, it may as well be on the Moon as far as he is concerned. I doubt if he has sent even a single Frumentarii East of the Mississippi, much less within sight of it.
