Been a fan since Arena, I guess. Mmmm....MSDOS. I never did totally get into the whole study all aspects of the lore and get books and stuff though. Just loved the games. Same with gamesas's Fallout series. Started off with Fallout (1).

My first Elder Scrolls game was Morrowind. Bought it the day it was released. I also bought Oblivion the day it was released. And I will be buying Skyrim the day it is released too.

I said in another thread that I wouldn't post in this section of the forums anymore.thats because it makes me want to argue with everyone, but nevertheless I feel I have to say something here. I've probably put more time into playing TES games than I have spent time sleeping. lol (that's because I'm an insomniac) Anyone who has played a TES game and loved it is a fan. in actuality there is no such thing as a true fan. so arguing over what makes a true fan makes no sense. and FYI it never matters what game you started on just as long as you love TES.

I started with Oblivion on the PC, which isn't an option on the poll. I've played Oblivion, a decent time in Morrowind though I didn't beat it yet, and perhaps ten minutes of Arena.

Oblivion is my favorite but I still love Morrowind and I don't feel I've played enough of the others to judge. It would take something major for me to be disappointed in Skyrim.

Brought Morrowind GOTY just after that pack was released. I recently got Oblivion GOTY for PC, plus the DLCs (after suffering with it on the XBox for however many years - shudder). Both games occupy a place on honour, pinned on my start menu. Modded, it's a close call, but I'm still leaning slightly towards Morrowind. Maybe OOO will change that though?

I started playing TES in 2005 when my friend introduced me to Morrowind. TES:3 has been in my top 3 favorite games ever since.

I didn't come on the forums until after Oblivion came out though.
