It's ironic that "roll" playing is a derogatory term that PnP players use for people who just "roll the dice" and don't role play.
Personally, I don't think any computer game will be able to provide anything but "roll" playing. Without other live people to play off of (at least a GM), the system is too limited - you can't define your "role" in-game that strongly, the game mechanics/physics model/NPC interactions - they're all limited by the systems that are programmed in.
(Of course, by that measure, I don't really think that the things the OP listed make it "roleplaying" any more than the stuff we already have. :shrug:)
disclaimer - even in pen-and-paper RPGs, I'm more of a "roll" player than a "role" player - I'm not good enough at improvisational theatre. Or plotting stories/writing/character development.
