Trying to find the Revelers...

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 3:23 am

How can I force their encounter. It's been 320 game hours and I still haven't encountered them. Did an enemy creature killed them and they perma-death on me. Or can they respawn? I tried what was mentioned in UESP and Skyrim wiki, still nothing...

Any helpful tips to force an encounter with them?

They seem pretty random... And also pointless... Is there like a reason you want to see them? After 320 hours of gameplay I doubt your that interested in the necklace...

I find them profusely in the areas of: Rorikstead- just outside the town, towards Whiterun, near Markarth- Towards the Lover Stone, and on that route, and most of all, near Riften, along the bottom and top of the paths near lake Honrich. When I find them I normally have a few bottles of mead of any type ( normally black-briar) in my inventory.

If I wasn't interested I wouldn't be posting now would I.
I'm trying to gather up all the unique items in this game.

Still having trouble been looking where http://www.gamesas.com/user/824457-ahzirrtraajijazeri/ mentioned. Looks to be truly random. Asked the guys on GameFaqs and they are getting completely different locations. Sigh...

In my game they stand outside Old Hroldan Inn. And they are all heavily armed with Forsworn weapons they picked up off the road. :P

For any new player character they're great to find early on for the

@Levy I tend to find them on the roads leading from WR, most recently I was out gathering torchbugs and luna moths and they were on the Battle-Born Farm side of the road (very random) and lately one of them is always wearing nuttin' but skivvies (I think he drinks BB, but doesn't tell the other two).

They are random encounter and can't be killed permanently. Most common places where I have encountered them are road from Whiterun to Riverwood and the road from Whiterun to Windhelm. I'm surprised that you haven't face them with your 320h gameplay. That makes me to guess you are a type of player who use fast travel or carriages instead of your own legs or horse.

I found them near Sarethi Farm - several times, in fact. Save in Riften, by the west gate, and leave it and follow that road. Eventually, you'll hit a bridge south-southwest of Sarethi Farm. It has a good chance of spawning the revelers. They then went to Sarethi Farm and are still sitting there to this day on my save. If they don't show up for you, reload and run the gauntlet again. You'll get it eventually.

All I can say is that you shouldn't fast travel anymore if you want a better chance at seeing them, I really wish I had a more definitive answer but, it could be a possibility that they may have gotten glitched into the land, it has happened to me once before on my 360 console, and twice on my computer ( yes I bought the game for both my console and my computer, because I do that for all of Bethesda's games) and I had to re-load to a point before I met them if I wanted to see them besides from their encasemant into a rock where I couldn't engage dialogue. I hope you find them at some point in your trek throughout the holds of Skyrim.

I use my legs a lot and hardly ever used a horse till recently and I do not remember ever seeing these Revelers. :(

I found them a couple of times just west of Windhelm, just before the road crosses the river. From what I understand in the strategy guide I got with it when I pre-ordered, when you find them in a place, they will always be there. I think.

I usually find them near Whiterun or Windhelm along the road. They do move around, and I've found two of the three dead in one of my current games near Forsaken Cave.

These guys were one of my first encounters in the whole game. Found them when I was walking from Whiterun to Iverstead somewhere near that fallen log bridge. They were by a river and a bridge if I'm not mistaken.

In my game they are standing in the road near the inn in Kynesgrove. Make sure you have a bottle of Honningbrew to share with them...two is better. :tes:

I've only met them once despite very little fast travelling, and that wasn't until after >250 hours. South of Windhelm, on the road to Whiterun.

Interestingly enough, next time I was in the area, I found one of them floating dead in the water close to Riverside Shack. He's been there ever since.

I'm like 420 hours plus.

Those revelers were at one of those farms, FOREVER. I mean, every time I happened by again, for like 50 levels, they were there. Its only recently I noticed they are not at the same farm.

I just met them southwest of Riften, on the road following the southern end of the lake.

They were extremely fond of one of these farms near Windhelm on a previous character of mine. What made that disturbing was that two of them had stripped off their clothes while partying around there in the snow....
