I am trying to install the Oblivion/Fallout 3 GOTY content onto a USB memory unit, despite the fact that it says that it needs a hard drive, I have enough space on my memory unit for them both. but, it still says I need a xbox hard drive, which, I do not have ATM.


Also, I have no internet for my xbox so I cannot download any patches.... ideas?

Wait... what? You say you have an xbox with no hard drive? Getting fixed? Wow nice card, Oblivion GOTY was about 2 gigs for me. Fallout with all DLC was about 4 gigs. I think that you need to wait for your hard drive to come back, as it needs to interface with the system. Both GOTYs have the latest patches.

I technically DO have a hard drive but Xbox 360 won't recognize it. but, what I was trying to ask was if there was a way to install the GOTY content onto my memory unit without having to get a new xbox hard drive. Cause I'm..y'know... flat broke.

nope, has to be xbox hard drive, its made that way to deter piracy
