I'm pretty much making another staff like sanguine's staff. I have the model and my new texture, but for some reason when I use it, nothing is summoned. I tried setting it to summon different creatures but nothing happens.

I have a magic effect set up, a weapon enchantment set up identical to sanguine's staff, but I'm stumped.

Anyone know what's going on?

It's kinda complicated. the reason my spell wasnt working was because I was trying to summon a leveled list of dremora like the original sanguine rose, and I guess you can't summon leveled lists with any scripts attached to them (you know, in the character edit menu below the name, above the checkboxes). Not sure if this is 100% true cuz Im only a novice at scripting. most summons have a death effect script attached to them to give them that flashy death effect. apparently leveled list summon creatures do not cuz u cant.

but its strange, if i start a new game my staff works just fine, but if i use it on the save ive been using it on, the staff still doesnt work... im gonna try using save game cleaner and see if it works again.
