Coming back to Morrowind after a long break I found that the Dark Brotherhood Armor Replacer by Mazieres that I loved so much when I was 17 doesn't suit me anymore, and I want to return to the original design. Strange thing is, I can't find the esp anywhere in my data folder, it's nowhere on my list and for some reason it keeps showing up in-game. This is starting to get a little frustrating as well as quite a bit perplexing. Obviously some other mod is using the files, but I can't figure it out for the life of me. I even remade my own weapons and armor combined esp to no avail. Any suggestions?

two you can delete all the files by redownloading it and opening the textures and meshes folder in the extraction. Looking at them and finding them in my computer and deleting them manually.

I thought of that too, but when I tried to delete the files all I got were a bunch of missing icons/mesh symbols. I'm assuming this means that it's tied to an esp, but I can't find any that would effect it, I've tried disabling my combined esp, assassin's armory and flig's armor project to no avail.

Then it could be used in another mod i know creatures X changes dreamers to have one of the alternate armor. Try running vannila morrowind.
EDIT: I believe its MCA but im not sure.

Did you rebuild your mashed list & do a Wrye Mash repair all on your save game. Those are your most likely places for the armor replacer to remain in the game.

Well that was weird, after messing around with my .ini file I reverted to an older one to restore some stuff, and the armor was back to normal. Nothing seems to be out of place, but there must have been something different...right? Regardless, the problem seems to be fixed.
