Turning into a werewolf : V

Hey guys, quick question here. I can see "Beast Mode" under my Powers but I haven't been able to figure out how to use it. I am still working through the Companions quests but I have already discovered their secret and turned into a wolf once at night during the quest. Do I need to complete more quests before I can manually turn myself? Thanks.

click on it like a shout then use the shout button.

Equip it then press the Power/Shouts Button (Z for PC, R2 for PS3, RB(?) for 360).

I was like that when trying to use my racial ability, then I pressed the shout button and everyone ran in fear from my Nord (old character).
