Anyways, sure they could implement a non violent version, but why not just get the German version? I'd rather not have BGS put time into a feature such as this. The only real option I could see is to be able to play this game in the living room with wifey and little Jonny around.

If someone is erasing your posts then it's a moderator, the moderators here are not dikes, they don't just remove posts for no reason.
So if your posts keept getting erased then ask a moderator why it was removed, and if they say "because of X" then don't do X any more and you'll be fine.

Both the original Fallout and F2 had a simple toggle to minimize or maximize the gore. The OPs request is not unreasonable. As far as profanity goes, F3 actually has less profane dialog than F2 did.

I found some of the gore kind of annoying. Not because I'm sensitive to violence but because it didn't make any sense. Seriously, where do the raiders find all those giant bird cages? And why would raiders and slavers always carve people up if they aren't cannibals? Doesn't make much sense to me.

Because some gamers like the franchise but not the aspect. Fallout 3 isn′t about gore. Surely you play games where there′s always one thing you don′t like, yet you keep playing because you like the other stuff?

This is about that. I like running around in the wasteland. I like selling and buying things and talking to NPCs. I like shooting raiders and exploring, but I don′t like heads being cut off when I shoot someone, that′s simply too much. Everyone has his limit.

it's rated M for Mature for a reason, and gore is what fallout is all about.

Couldn′t disagree more. It contains it but it′s not about it. I′ve played plenty of shooters that had little or no gore at all and they worked fine. Fallout is not about gore, it′s about doing what you want.

But you have been able to control the amount of it in past games such as Tactics.
