So I tried turning off Self Shadows.

Went into Options -> Video to turn off Self Shadows, but it didn't turn off!

Restart a new game, with a new character, but the Self Shadow is still there. Went into Options -> Video to confirm that Self Shadows is "Off" (and it is).

Did anyone had a similar issue, or point me in the right direction?

Nevermind, I'm a doofus.

It is indeed off, but my mind somehow can't make that connection until roommate make that connection for me.

PSA: Don't play games while you're sick and heavily medicated.

Self-shadows are kind of broken, so don't try to force them on.
