Is it at all possible to discover Caesar's condition BEFORE becoming locked out of the NCR quests?

I don't usually do Legion at all, and I'm not super familiar with all this, but I think it'd be really cool to sort of switch sides on discovering Caesar's cancer. Preferably to NCR. I'm not all that concerned with DOING the whole quest- just discovering the condition.


So, when's the earliest the player can find out? Is it before or after the White Glove part of Render Unto Caesar?
